We spent Easter at this lovely place and had a wonderful time! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, and the host was very kind and responsive. Highly recommended – we’d love to come back!

We traveled with the whole family and felt very comfortable. Kathrin and Julia have a great place to stay that is highly recommended. The house is much bigger than shown in the pictures. We were completely satisfied.

It was great! The apartment is well equipped. Everything you could possibly need was there!

Ideal location and size for our family of 8 (5x adults and 3x children) to stay in and visit family nearby as well as days out.

Very cozy house in the middle of the hills and forests between Detmold, Lemgo and Blomberg. Except for Marcus on the first floor, you have no neighbors and can do your own thing. The individual rooms are individually and lovingly furnished and you will find everything you need, including some ways to make cultivated noise. I can only recommend it. Dalborn as a pretty little village with a restaurant is within walking distance, the sights of the area within 15-20 minutes by car.

We chose the place as a Christmas meeting place for the family. It was really a feel-good place with plenty of space and yet a cozy ambience. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped for cooking together. Thanks to the underfloor heating, the children (and adults) can use the whole floor as a play area. A fireplace is available for use. During a cozy breakfast, deer often keep you company in the garden. The bathroom is an oasis of well-being with a walk-in shower and hot tub. The whole house is flooded with light. The beds were all cozy. We slept well. At night, there was no sound to be heard, no background noise from any street. Not far away are the Externsteine and the Hermannsdenkmal, among other things. It was perfectly sufficient for our short stay. But there is certainly more for those who want to stay longer. The hosts are easy to reach for questions. We'd love to come back.

For our son, the garden with the many play equipment as well as the chickens were unique highlights. There were lots of toys and books in the children's room. It was a very relaxing holiday for us. A mix of relaxation in the garden, hikes in the Weserbergland and walks on the Weser. A very pleasant communication from the first moment :)

Our time at Andreas' was fantastic! The house is in impeccable condition, you immediately feel at home. There is nothing missing – from the can opener to the fireplace, everything is available. I was particularly impressed by the well-maintained and well-equipped kitchen. The living room and large balcony are highlights, especially the panoramic view from the east balcony, where you can enjoy beautiful sunrises. If necessary, the windows can be completely darkened by roller blinds. Which was a big advantage on the warm days. The view of fields and forest is fantastic, and the garden was a paradise for my dog. The apples and pears were a delicious bonus Andreas was very friendly and always available. 7 out of 5 stars – we'll be back!
