The apartment was absolutely wonderful, right on the canal with a nice view. Purmerend is a very nice little town with beautiful parks. If you are coming for Amsterdam it is a little inconvenient to get into the city, but still manageable. If you are coming for purmerend I couldn’t imagine a better place for the price. Sandra was very helpful and a great host as well.

This delightful apartment is located in the historic central part of town, on a canal. Very comfortable, cozy and quiet. Plenty of room with a very appealing courtyard as well. Quality furnishing and fixtures with extra touches like chocolates, snacks, juices and sparkling water enhance the experience. Karin is a marvellous host who is very proactive, helpful , kind and generous. We highly recommend this establishment, in this gem of a town.

The apartment was in a fantastic location – perfect for exploring the city and enjoying the beach. It was very cozy and it had everything you need. You immediately felt comfortable. Communication with Cynthia went smoothly and quickly, she was always available and very helpful. The entire stay was great and we'd come back anytime. Absolute recommendation!

Such a lovely stay! This place was exactly what we needed — peaceful, cozy, and away from all the city noise. The cottage is super cute, clean, and has everything you need. Loved waking up to the sounds of farm animals, and it’s close to some handy local grocers too. The host, Marit was amazing — super responsive and really made us feel welcome. Highly recommend if you’re looking to unplug, recharge, and enjoy a bit of countryside bliss. We’d definitely come back!

The accommodation is not only modern and clean, but also cozy. You feel comfortable right away and can handle everything immediately. The location is quiet and in the private rear building, but you can still easily reach the nearest train station by public transport or on foot within a few minutes. Long-distance roads are also very close. Street parking is possible at any time and free of charge. Danielle is an experienced, friendly and well-prepared host. She is happy to answer any questions and otherwise leaves you alone. We used the accommodation as a starting point for trips to Amsterdam, the beach, and the surroundings of North Holland. Everything was easily accessible within 30 minutes. We felt welcome and very comfortable at the accommodation. We will be happy to come back.

The view was fantastic! It was exactly as shown and described in the pictures. It was really worth it to spend a few days there and see something different. Highly recommended in any case!

We stayed at Ingrid’s place for 13 days with the idea that we would be in a good location to visit Amsterdam and the tulip fields while at the same time being in a more peaceful location than Amsterdam. We found such a location here in Zandvoort, it is a perfect location, quiet, by the beach and easy access to where ever you want to travel to. Ingrid and Aldo were perfect hosts, we have had many Airbnb experiences but this one was the best. They were always available and so helpful. We felt instantly welcomed and viewed as guest not just a customer. We really had a most wonderful time in the Netherlands and a big part of it were our hosts. The apartment was exactly as shown, a large room with a large balcony which really added to the experience. We loved the bed which was so comfortable. While there is not a kitchen we found that the small fridge and microwave gave us what we needed and we enjoyed going into the city centre every day or two to shop the European way.

Just perfect for two people. There is nothing missing and you immediately feel comfortable. The terrace with the sauna is special, you are completely private. If you want to do something, you are well connected everywhere, whether restaurant, bars or supermarket, the location is simply a dream. Maik is always easy to reach, very nice and helpful. We had a wonderful time, thank you for everything.

A very cozy apartment, located on a quiet and peaceful street. Waking up to birds singing nearby is what you want from a vacation at seaside. All of this while being two blocks away from city centre, sweet combo.

What a fun place to stay! The art around the apartment gave the space so much character! My family stayed there for 5 nights and enjoyed Every minute. Great location too! As others have mentioned, there are a lot of steps, but that didn’t bother us a bit.

Do not hesitate to go there! It is the perfect getaway! Everything is well thought, well decorated, we felt so quickly at home and at peace. There are some houses and neighbours around the house but you might only see them when you arrive and leave. The place is private and quiet. The view is exactly like the picture, we spent evenings looking at the sky, the birds, the rabbits and the cows. A great place 😊

Great apartment! Very clean and well located - centrally located near the beach and train station. There was everything you could need.

This is my first time traveling on Airbnb and so positively surprised . The apartment is just cute, it has everything you need . The bed was nicely prepared and super clean. There was wine on the table to welcome you, wine and something to snack on. Also a very nice gesture and you feel welcome right away. The location is ideal , not far from the city center and the beach. Both can be reached on foot in a few minutes . Since I drove to Zandvoort at short notice, I did not know where to borrow a bike . Even this information was answered very quickly and politely by the landlord. I had to leave the day before and this was completely straightforward. I'm just glad to have had such a positive experience . Thanks again to Bas I'll definitely come back again Kind regards, Elke

The place was just fantastic – clean, stylishly furnished and with a breathtaking view! A real highlight of our stay. Even better, however, was our host Julie: incredibly helpful, warm and always available. No question was too much for her, and her answers always came lightning fast. The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

The apartment is in a great location. It has a great view of a canal and this is its strongest point! It is also very close to the tram and Aurore is always willing to answer your questions. I am leaving the guest star of the house, Zola. Without her the house would be another ordinary airbnb.. Highly recommended!!

We stayed in the apartment for a weekend and felt very comfortable. With the bikes you could easily reach the nearby metro station and we had a good time in Amsterdam. The landlords were very friendly and always easily accessible. I highly recommend this place for Amsterdam stays.

We spent a week before Easter at Thildy's and felt very comfortable in the apartment. It is comfortably furnished and there is everything you need for a vacation. Everything was clean, the kitchen well equipped. Communication with Thildy was very good.

This is our second stay and we loved it even more than the first. Ella constantly goes above and beyond to make things just so we notice lots of little details including soap that was toddler friendly, fresh flowers, and some little welcome treats all waiting for us … but the most amazing treat was a little pull along toy that was age-appropriate for our toddler Very flexible and accommodating with checking in and check out and we are most grateful for that extra flexibility and kind We couldn’t recommend Ella or her home more highly we will be back again
