perfect stay comfortable bed lovely seating area. great outdoor space, amazing shower and lovely little kitchen with great extras . much appreciated great location , hosts were friendly and helpful information book provided with all you need to know would definitely recommend and would definitely be back .

I don't know if everyone does this, but for me, there are times when I drive past a farm and - in spite of not knowing anything at all about farming - I think "That looks like a well-run place". That is the impression given by the approach to Lodge Barns. Not everyone would want to stay on a working farm, though, and this has the best of both worlds: the sense of a well-run farm but the convenience of an easily accessible Airbnb, with the history of the buildings being entirely clear - in our case, the Hayloft - but none of the tractor-rutted, welly-booted reality of the farmyard. In fact, the view across the gardens to the main house is elegant and you could forget there was a farm involved quite easily. The conversion is of good quality, the buildings are warm and light, the furniture and fittings appropriate and comfortable. There's a good information folder and there's everything you'd need in terms of kit. The setting is rural, but Southwell and Newark are close.

Denise’s place is a beautiful relaxing rural get away. Surrounded by stunning views and walks perfect little retreat. Denise, her husband and 2 gorgeous dogs were fantastic hosts, very responsive and gave super recommendations. Food in the area is a little pricey but we could have easily spent all weekend just in the rural lodge itself. We will be rebooking very soon.

Accommodation was lovely , clean tidy had everything you needed . Bacon bread milk and orange juice bought in for us as we got there 👍🏻 Surroundings were lovely and peaceful, did a bit of fishing , was the perfect New Year’s Eve stay and would definitely book again Thankyou Sharon x
