Louise’s barn is in a fantastic location for exploring the Forest of Dean which was important to us as first time visitors. The accommodation is absolutely stunning. Beautifully presented and maintained with a cosy feel to the place. The surroundings, including the private garden area are stunning and our whole family were so excited to have cows and sheep as neighbours! Louise is the perfect host. She couldn’t have done more to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. She was totally on the ball with communication before arrival, during the holiday and even after (when we forgot our baby monitor!) however, we felt we had complete privacy throughout our stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer and would absolutely love to book again.

Excellent cottage, loads of space (bit of a Tardis) while also having a cost cottage feel including a log burner. Also massive garden which would be great for a summer stay. Rural broadband is very limited here so it's worth being aware of that before you book.

We had the most amazing stay at Brook Cottage. Robyn is a wonderful host who has truly thought of everything – from the warm welcome to the thoughtful homemade treats, fudge, Prosecco, crisps, and pain au chocolat. Such lovely touches made us feel right at home. The cottage itself is peaceful, beautifully decorated, and one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The games room and hot tub were both fantastic – we spent so much time relaxing and having fun there. The local pub is just a 5-minute walk away, with a great selection of drinks and lovely bar staff. Everything about our stay was perfect. We would 10000% book again – highly, highly recommended if you’re staying near the Forrest!
