I had a beautiful time at the Stables! It’s a getaway from the world at a working farm. I love animals, so I asked to meet some of them, and Yvonne took me to see (and pet!) the milking cows, and explained the entire process to me! The house had traditional charm but was has been updated everywhere that it counts. They have lists of local recommendations but I was happy to get groceries and use the excellent kitchen at the property. I did not have a car and was warned about difficulty getting around but as I was only interested in nature and peace and quiet, getting to and from on public transport was easy enough. Finally, Yvonne was always prompt responding to me and was very friendly and welcoming! I’d love to come back!

We had the most magical Christmas week at this cozy, lovely cottage nestled in the forest! Our family, spanning three generations, all found something to enjoy and cherish. From the youngest to the eldest, everyone had an unforgettable time. The setting was perfect for unwinding and relaxing, surrounded by the serene beauty of nature. The cottage was incredibly well-equipped and thoughtfully arranged for our arrival. The hosts had considered every detail, making us feel welcome and right at home from the moment we walked through the door. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare festive meals, and the living areas were perfect for gathering around the fire and sharing stories. The children had a fantastic time exploring the woods and discovering the wonders of the forest. Meanwhile, the adults could unwind with peaceful walks, cosying up with a good book, or enjoy quality family time playing games and watching holiday movies together. We can't recommend this place enough.

Wonderful place in the Forrest of dean. Accommodations were great with big rooms and en-suite baths. Great for our family of 5 for the holidays. Fay and family were great with communications and overall support for the house. Highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful few days staying in Annette’s cottage Airbnb. It was so peaceful and had stunning greenery all around, which made the hot tub even more relaxing. The actual cottage was very clean and tidy and really cosy - a very good find. Annette was extremely helpful and friendly, making our experience even more enjoyable. Thank you so much - would 10/10 recommend.
