Kellys place was perfect for our family. The location is close to many of the areas local attractions and the peaceful tranquility of the deck and watching so many species of birds in the yard was incredible! We would stay here again.

Nice and beautiful place to stay

The place is extraordinary. Clean, elegant, and hidden away. We loved our stay. Louis is a great host. He responded quickly and made great recommendations.

A great option for the weekend! The house is very nice and cozy. It's very well distributed, which makes each stay very comfortable. We found the house very clean and organized and there was absolutely nothing missing. Clothes, plates, cutlery, toilet paper, good internet… What the description of the house says, it complies fully. Access was easy and very safe. The balcony with bench and table in front of the house has a view towards the wind towers, and is ideal for photos and videos. As we arrived in the middle of a cold front, we realized that the house isolates very well against the cold and the wind that were quite strong on the two nights of stay. Karina left us the house ready and made sure we were at ease. If you need to buy any groceries, the center of Tilarán is close by and has everything at hand. The views in the village are also breathtaking by the proximity of the wind towers. I would definitely come back again if I'm in the area.

Our family has a wonderful stay at Ulfran’s! Ulfran cut down coconuts for our family and taught us how to open them. The property is beautiful and filled with birds and monkeys. We loved being woken up by howler monkeys every morning! The location was very close to many activities… Sloth’s paradise down the road was the highlight of our trip! We saw frogs, eyelash viper snakes and sloths up close and in their natural habitat (not a zoo or caged area - completely natural).

Casita Azul was beautiful, a super clean, tidy house, I felt definitely at home, in addition the village is beautiful and everything is very close, it is very worth staying there a 100 in everything

Our stay was incredible! This is definitely the house to stay at if you are visiting Monteverde. This little house fit our family of 4 perfectly, although we spent most of our time sitting on the balcony enjoying the views. The house is located perfectly to give you some peace while still being only a 15 minute drive from the city. Albita was very responsive to all my questions and was able to give us recommendations on what to do in Monteverde. Make sure to use the address Albita sends you so you can find the house! If you stay here, you absolutely must go to Lluvias de Gloria cafe! This was recommended to us by Albita and it is a family-owned farm only 10 min from the house. They gave us a tour of the entire farm with coffee and fruit tastings. We also went back to eat there several times at their cafe. This was the best thing we did on our entire Costa Rica trip!!

We enjoyed the gorgeous volcano views and the peacefulness of being on a working farm. It’s a quick drive to La Fortuna and all the tourist activities without all the busyness of those areas. We found a few great restaurants in El Tanque which is only a few miles away. The trucks are very loud but we got used to it after the first day. The market at the bottom of the hill had interesting and unique crafts and souvenirs.

We spent four amazing days at Venado Valley Ranch. From the very beginning, we felt at home thanks to the warm welcome from Sandra. There is so much to do and experience here. Our children, aged 9 and 11, were constantly entertained by all the animals and activities. Ronald guided us on a beautiful tour through the river to the waterfall, where we had a wonderful swim at this unique spot. The horseback ride with the whole family through the mountains was fantastic. Milking the cows and making sugarcane juice were also great experiences. Breakfast and dinner were prepared by Damaris – what delicious meals she made! We truly enjoyed every bite. The accommodation itself is really special. Our kids even had their own room, where Smokey the house cat came to keep them company. They said these were the best days of the entire vacation. But beyond the location, it’s the people who made it truly special. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us, Sandra, Ronald, and Damaris!

Greetings, I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. We loved the views of the lake and mountains. The view from the living room is a constant reminder of the incredible natural beauty of Arenal. We enjoyed how the morning light fills the house, especially the main bedroom. We cooked almost every day. Great stove and a well equipped kitchen was a plus and saved us a lot of money. The house is cozy with great views. The grounds are beautiful and enhance the surrounding natural beauty. We really enjoyed the quiet comfort of the house and the environment you have created. What a cute little cabin in a remote area! Andi & Angi are amazing hosts! They are so helpful and kind, taking great care to make sure we are enjoying our stay. Breakfast was amazing - homemade bread, butter, jams, local fruits and fresh eggs from their self-sustaining finca. For those who enjoy the simple pleasures in life and the quietness of remote Costa Rica, this is the place for you!

Mabel is a wonderful host and you even get breakfast! The apartment is furnished with a lot of love and you have a beautiful view of nature.

We loved the accommodation, like being at home, super comfortable, we disconnected from the world surrounded by pure nature, the views of the volcano from the pool are incredible

Jim and Carol's place is a bit off the beaten path about 30 mins outside of La Fortuna. They are wonderful, kind and attentive hosts. The breakfast each morning was delicious and Jim delighted us with stories and magic tricks. Would reccomend for travelers who want something outside of the town and who wants to be more in nature/secluded.

We really loved this Airbnb. The small casita was very comfortable, had great views, friendly animals that came to say hello regularly and was close to lots of activities near the lake and town. The space felt clean, super safe, and homey. We will definitely book again, our favorite place near the lake so far!!

Charles was a great host. He checked in several times to be sure all was going well. The apartment was an easy walk to town. There are four other apartments in the building and all the other residents are long-term renters. They were friendly and helpful. The back porch had a beautiful view of the lake framed by rainforest vegetation. There is a side-benefit, too ... there is a wonderful restaurant right on the property. Don't miss having lunch or dinner there. I would rent there again.
