Wonderful boutique hotel. The room is spacious, clean, and the beds are very comfortable. The location is perfect for getting to the local interests. The restaurant and bar are fun and the food is good. Breakfast by the pool is delicious. The staff are warm and welcoming. We highly recommend staying here.

Lovely hotel in Dominical! Super walkable to the beach and all the restaurants on the Main Street. We were comfortable although the rooms were a bit small. The AC also gave out in the middle of the night but not sure if that was our fault with the settings. Awesome pool and hangout area as well.

We really enjoyed our stay here. our room and bed were very comfortable & the entire grounds are very well kept & beautiful. The staff were all incredibly welcoming & the surrounding wildlife was a great bonus! The pool was great to jump into after excursions.

This was our first time in Costa Rica and I find it hard to imagine a better first experience than the one we had whilst staying at Ecotica. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly (this can't be emphasised enough), whether speaking in Spanish or English (our Spanish is a bit rough around the edges!). Our room, which overlooked the forest and the pool area, was lovely (and always cleaned well every morning). It had a safe, coffee machine, microwave, fridge, and hairdryer. Ecotica's location is also very good; you're roughly a ten minute walk from the nearest beach, 30 minute walk to Manual Antonio National Park, and only a few minutes from a good selection of bars/restaurants. The included breakfast was also excellent. The real standout of the hotel however, is the incredible wildlife that's found within the grounds: lizards, macaws, agoutis, and of course many many monkeys! Overall I can't rate the hotel and its surroundings highly enough. Thanks, Ecotica, for a wonderful stay!

Excellent, the service is very good. The room is cozy and comfortable. The air conditioning makes a bit noisy, but nothing serious. It is 10 min away from Manuel Antonio Park and 15 min from Quepos. They count trails inside the property where we could see monkeys.

Our stay at Ecotica was magical! The place is beautiful, surrounded by real nature and full of animals. The monkeys paid a visit to the trees around us when we were in at the pool. The workers there are super nice. The room is so clean and comfortable. We would like to recommend it 100%! Thanks Ecotica!

This was our favourite stay during our two-week trip to Costa Rica. The treehouse bungalow was very spacious, nicely decorated and we loved sitting out on the balcony watching and listening to the wildlife. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lovely pool area that is great for animal spotting - we saw tons of monkeys everyday, agoutis, macaws, bullfrogs and other cool birds. There is also happy hour everyday with tasty cocktails! Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great Location in Manuel Antonio! Very Friendly staff! I definitely recommend this place if you are looking to stay in the heart of Manuel Antonio. Very cute little villa. Perfect for a romantic getaway for two! So many great restaurants in the area! My wife and I saw so much wildlife during our stay. Watch out for the squirrel Monkeys that are sure to come by Every morning. Don’t have any food out because they will swipe it. There must have been at least 20 they came up the mountain every morning. It was so much fun watching them climb the trees and jump from tree to tree. There was also a momma and her baby sloth hanging out right in the tree outside overlooking the patio! Definitely recommend Hotel Villas Nicolas! Great communication from Sheryl!

All the staff treated us like friends and were very helpful with everything! I asked for first floor room not understanding it was under the restaurant. A bit noisy at busy times of day. No fault of the hotel. Keep in mind that to walk ANYWHERE in this area you will be going up quite steep hills You better be in decent shape
