We had a longer stay in this apartment in January 2025! The host was extremely attentive and took great care of our well-being. The apartment is tastefully decorated, with a lot of love for detail, and the beds are very comfortable – we slept wonderfully. We were particularly impressed by the beautiful view of the lake, which we could enjoy every morning. The location is pleasantly quiet but still ideal: in just 15-20 minutes on foot you can reach the island. Perfect for a relaxing break – we will be happy to come back!

Annette is very friendly and has made our stay more pleasant with many small, personal touches. The apartment was just as described and very clean. We immediately felt comfortable and had arrived "home." The surroundings are exactly as we hoped. Quiet, close to the lake with the possibility to experience beautiful bike rides with smaller children. If you are looking for a modern “chic-chic accommodation,” you should not rent the apartment. For everyone else who values cleanliness, tasteful and functional furnishings, plenty of space and a well-equipped kitchen, the accommodation is an absolute insider tip! The balcony with a small lake view is perfect for 4 people to end the day with a glass of wine. We will be back!

Everything is fine, and according to expectations. We had a nice Easter at Lake Walchen. However, you should be able to 🛵 cope with the noise of passing cars, motorhomes and the like. A cozy "sitting on the balcony" is more reminiscent of the background noise of Mediterranean street cafes :) The path to the bathroom and sauna cabin is a bit spooky and takes time. Nostalgia with pure patina. The kitchen is well equipped, which makes cooking fun. The bathroom is comfortable and leaves nothing to be desired. Wi-Fi is as described very stable, nowadays worth its weight in gold. There are some hiking/walking trails from the house, so the car can stay parked for a few days. Parking was also no problem as described. Antje is a great host.

It was an absolute pleasure staying in Doris home, Sarah and Dora are wonderful! I felt so comfortable in this home, there was many Special Christmas and lights decorations all around the house and through the garden. It looks like a fairytale home full of special decorations! The hosts make you feel comfortable and they are very helpful. The front lake view is insanely beautiful, like a little piece of paradise! House is exactly as advertised. It’s new, modern and easy to stay in. Katti and Stefan were excellent hosts and responsive and helpful at all times. You will need a car as the location is remote, but easy to find. Would recommend as a base for local ski resorts in the winter.
