Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Bern

Wir waren zu dritt im Stadthüsli. Es war eine sehr Schöne Unterkunft. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt und kommen bestimmt gerne wieder!

Really enjoyed our stay at the property. Such a lovely villa in a beautiful location. Easy to get to by public transport or a walk around the lake. Giuseppe was a great host, always responsive to our queries and also sorted out our Lucerne cards before our arrival which gave us free transport and discounts in the area. Would definitely recommend and hopefully we can return in the future.

It was our first family trip to Switzerland and Sabrina’s place was in the perfect spot to see so many different sights. We had a very busy week and everything was within an easy drive. It is located in a quiet residential area with amazing views towards Jungfrau. The house itself is well laid out and has plenty of space. We found it very comfortable. It was a nice surprise to find all the main UK channels were available on the TV to watch in the evening. We have a lot more to see in Switzerland so we will definitely return to Sabrina’s place.

André et Sabine sont des hôtes très accueillants et très réactifs. Ils sont disponibles et tres sympathiques. Le logement est impeccable et idéal pour se retrouver lorsqu'on est nombreux. Les lits étaient impeccable et très confortables. L'absence de télévision n'a pas été un souci car il y a de nombreux jeux pour tout âge et jeux de sociétés. Nous sommes ravi de notre weekend. Merci encore.

Francoise’s place was perfect for us, two friends travelling. Plenty space which meant we both had our own bed- and bathroom and more than enough space in the kitchen and living room. Very clean and had all amenities we could ask for. Lovely big garden space to make use of, too. I have no hesitation recommending Francoise’s house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans la Petite Maison de Neuvecelle. Le logement était très propre et proche des lieux que nous souhaitions visiter. Gros + sur les recommandations de bonnes adresses! Je recommande !

Christine's apartment was fabulous, modern, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, cosy and had comfortable beds. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend it. Just be aware though if you are booking this 6 bed apartment for only 3 or 4 people as we had an issue. We were a party of 2 mothers (in 60's) & 2 sons (in 20's). We were pleased to find this apartment as it had 3 rooms so the mothers could have a room each and sons share twin room. However when we arrived the twin room was locked and unavailable & 2 rooms did not match the listing showing 3. We were very disappointed. Christine did respond quickly and rectified the situation but pointed out she she had provided 4 beds. One mother is an Airbnb host and didn't feel she was very apologetic for the disappointment we had felt. She would have been far more apologetic. However she did not charge us for use of laundry to compensate. we can still thoroughly recommend this lovely apartment.

Uns hat die Unterkunft SEHR gefallen. Total stylisch und schön eingerichtet. Es hatte alles, was wir gebraucht haben. Für unsere Kinder gab es auch viele Möglichkeiten, sich zu Verweilen durch die coolen Räume, Möbel, die Schaukel im OG, das Spielzimmer im DG und die tollen Spielsachen, die wir in einem Schrank gefunden haben. Einzig die steile Treppe in das OG ist für ganz kleine Kinder nicht so geeignet, da sie Begleitung brauchen (offen und ohne Geländer). Die Betten waren super frisch und sehr bequem. Die Küche war tiptop ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt, die Kinder waren auch sehr begeistert. Das Haus ist liebevoll dekoriert. Wirklich toll. Der Kontakt mit der Gastgeberin war super nett und schnell. Sie hat immer innert Kürze geantwortet. Wir sind mit den ÖV gekommen, da muss man einfach etwas Zeit einrechnen, weil die nächste Bushaltestelle etwa 25min entfernt ist. Aber auch das hat geklappt. Schöne und ruhige Gegend, mit Möglichkeit in den Wald zu gehen.

Maja was friendly and available, lives upstairs and passed by to check everything was good and make any needed arrangements. There was extra care in little details, like leaving some swiss snack on the table for when I checked-in, and personalizing a welcoming note on the door. The place felt to me very much like home, is very peaceful (no cars/ streets noise if you have the window of the bedroom and kitchen closed), the window from the bathroom fazes the garden and you can hear the birds from there in the morning, it was lovely. Everything was clean and had a nice, clean, neutral smell. The kitchen had all I needed and more to cook every day, the bed was very comfortable to me, and there were lots of options of lights (different dense/ light curtains and smaller and bigger lamps), which gave me the freedom to personalize the atmosphere. Julien's apartment was exactly as expected with such beautiful views of the mountains as a bonus. Communication from Julien was super effective. Our stay was in winter but I would recommend all year round.

Es un apartamento precioso dentro de una casa típica en medio de Los Alpes en un pueblo suizo muy cerca a Intrlaken. Parqueadero gratis. Hay varias cosas en la cocina disponibles aunque no las usamos. El baño amplio. El agua caliente. Entorno precioso. Camas cómodas. Muy muy recomendado. Gracias.

Logement cosy et très bien équipé. Nous avons apprécié son confort. Alina est une hôte très réactive, disponible et attentionnée. Nous y reviendrons peut-être un jour.

Had a great stay, was easy to find and check in. For us the location was perfect, with an amazing view. For us as hikers we loved the area.

Nils et Micha sind sehr freundlich und hilfbereit. Sie gaben klare Hinweise, um die Wohnung zu finden. Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet.

Le studio est bien organisé et fidèle à la description. Il se trouve à proximité des commodités (restaurants, supérette, location de ski...). 5 min à pied de la télécabine. Régine est une hôte très réactive. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

The place was wonderful, very clean, and had a beautiful view. The host was highly responsive and respectful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Estuvimos muy bien en la casa. Jardín impresionante y los niños disfrutaron con la cama elástica.

Der Aufenthalt in der Wohnung von Patrizia war hervorragend. Besonders die Kommunikation, die aufgeräumte tadellose Wohnung sowie die beiden grossen und gemütliche Balkone waren super. Die etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Kaffee Maschine, entspricht vielleicht nicht mehr den heutigen Bedürfnissen. ich war jedoch erstaunt wie gut der Kaffee mündete und dies ohne Kapseln. gerne wieder in der Wohnung von Patrizia .

Appartamento estremamente pulito e ben equipaggiato, zona tranquilla e parcheggio sotto casa: vivamente raccomandato!

This house is definately a home away from home. It is beautiful and comfortable with all its details . You find eveything you need and enjoy the wonderful scenary of the mountain . Claudia is a very generous and gentle and welcoming person . She also made the kids happy with nice gestures . Will definately visit again!
