Unique & idyllic cabin on high mountain. The cottage is located about 1000 m above sea level with stunning views of the mountain world. Modernly furnished with all amenities such as shower, floor heating, fireplace and large panoramic windows. Great hiking terrain at your doorstep both winter and summer time. Bathing area can also be found close to the cabin. Car road all the way to the cabin during summer time. In winter time it is about 3 km from parking to the cabin. Cabin for up to 4 guests with Hallingdalselva as the closest neighbour. Nice outdoor area and rowboat and kayaks for free use in summer. Guests can bring bed linen and towels themselves, and clean the cabin before departure. Or final cleaning can be arranged and left to us at an additional cost NOK 600,- and bed linen/towels are rented NOK 125,- per person. The cabin is newly renovated in the winter of 23/24, with, among other things, a new bathroom and kitchen with dishwasher.

Hiking - and fishing terrain easily accessible; a large network of ski slopes, bikes - and hiking trails. It is only 6 km up to the high mountain in Skarvheimen where you see Reineskarvet and Hallingkarvet. The cabin is by itself and it goes all the way. If you are enjoying quiet and scenic surroundings, it is worth taking the trip here.

Located at 930 meters above sea level, ski conditions are secured in the winter time, but also plenty of activity and swimming opportunities in the summer. Well arranged for families with kids of all ages. Winter breeze up to the cabin, and ski in ski out (cross country).

We (2 adults, 1 7-year-old child and a toddler) had 5 wonderful days in Olav's house. The nature and the peace did us so much good. We were visited daily by a group of sheep. The house was so beautifully conceived and designed. Everything was clean and we didn't miss anything in the kitchen. Olav is a great host! He was always available and gave us great tips for excursions. We felt completely at home, THANK YOU!

Amazing cabin with truly beautiful views. Loved having the BBQ grill. Good quality gravel road to get to the cabin, with many switchbacks. It takes around 10 minutes to drive there from the main road - not good if you're scared of heights!

Beautiful place, close to amenities and perfect for exploring the area; the cottage is comfortable, well-equipped and clean, and the surroundings are beautiful (the view of the lake all around, the sunrises and sunsets from the terrace, the rocks at the water's edge, and even to contemplate from the inside, the walks around...), we really felt at home, in an idyllic bubble. Liv is a remarkable host, very available and responsive, we thank her again for hosting us. A place that we will keep in mind and that we recommend to those who love calm and contemplation.

An elegantly designed indoor space features a heated pool reflecting soft lighting. A stone fireplace is situated nearby, surrounded by comfortable seating areas. Large windows allow for a view of the external landscape while maintaining a cozy ambiance.
