Here you have the opportunity to spend the night in the top of the trees and enjoy the tranquility and wildlife of the forest. Here you can meet birds and squirrels, and there are good opportunities to spot deer and elk. In the summer months, there are alpacas grazing around the treetop cabin. The cabin is located by Kongevegen and is suitable as a starting point for hiking and cycling trips. Many fishing opportunities nearby. Good base for car trips to Hallingdal, Valdres, and Sogn. Our cabin was renovated and extended in the fall of 2022, and we can warmly welcome you and your travel companions! The cabin contains three bedrooms with double beds in addition to a loft/living room with a double sofa bed. Large bathroom with washing machine/dryer and well equipped kitchen. In the attic living room there is a TV that is connected to broadband, so you can stream what you want to see. Large porch with outdoor furniture and fire pit. Possibility to charge an electric car.

Cabin at 800 m.a.s.l. in the mountain village of Vats, Ål municipality. Great views over the village and mountains. Hiking and fishing terrain easily accessible; a large network of ski slopes, cycling and hiking trails. It is almost 6 km up to the high mountain in Skarvheimen where you can see Reineskarvet and Hallingskarvet. The cabin is located by itself and there is a road all the way up. If you enjoy quiet and scenic surroundings, it is worth taking the trip here.

If you fancy downhill skiing, within ten to sixty minutes drive you have access to Ål skicenter, Skarslia ski center, Geilo ski center, Hemsedal ski center, Skagahøgdi skicenter (Gol) and Hallingskarvet ski center. Cabin is rented out WITHOUT bedlinen and towels.
