The River House was the perfect getaway for a month. The location is removed enough to feel peaceful and serene, yet a quick drive into town for groceries didn’t feel daunting. Some highlights: - The sunroom is a huge perk and we loved reading in there - Hosts provided lots of fun ways to enjoy the property and water - kayaks, floaties, outdoor seating, fire pit, etc - Joan is the nicest, friendliest point of contact. Couldn’t have asked for a better host - The entire house is super well stocked, including anything & everything you could need in the kitchen, tons of extra towels, and snuggly blankets to use on the couch

This place was great. So peaceful, right on the river, very well maintained, clean, in a nice town. Cyn was very friendly and a great host, available if you needed her, but also provides you plenty of space.

If you're looking for a warm, cozy, and peaceful place to stay, this is it. I felt comfortable and safe throughout my visit. Everything in the facility was in excellent working condition. The customer service was exceptional, and I appreciated being able to get a late checkout. I'll definitely stay here again whenever I'm in the area and need lodging.
