Villa vacation rentals in Belize City

Overall very good experience at Claudia's place. She is kind, responsive, and helpful. She even arranged a golf cart taxi for us to get back to the ferry at the end of our stay! The bed nice but firm so anyone with a preference knows. The A/C works pretty well, just make sure to close the bathroom door and turn off the bathroom fan so it doesn't steal the A/C air away.

I think this house has one of the best views you can find on the island. The house is extremely spacious and The property management Kelin was so very nice and helpful! Please use the fishing guides Bent Hook Adventures that they suggest for all your excursions. They are the 2 best guys..Joe and Austin. I would suggest getting groceries at Super Buy in town and not closer to the house due to pricing. Black Orchid is the best restaurant nearby, food and drinks phenomenal. Ride to town is not as bad as I saw on a lot of reviews...just dont speed and its not bumpy! Bring some laundry pods, limited towels. One slight hiccup on last night but team urgently handled and it didn't ruin the amazing week we had! Would recommend!

Tarpon Bay was everything we hoped for—and more. The photos and descriptions are spot-on, but the real experience is even better. From the moment we booked, Julie was incredibly communicative and helpful. When we arrived, Ara, her housekeeper, was waiting for us at the water taxi and made sure we were settled in. She was so kind and helpful throughout our stay. The house itself was beautiful, spotless, and exactly what we were looking for. A bonus was having the hotel right across the street. We practically had the beach to ourselves the entire time. The hotel staff were all amazing, the food was delicious, and the drinks were even better. If you’re looking for something a little removed from the busier parts of town, this is the perfect spot. It’s a bit of a ride into San Pedro, and yes, the golf cart path can get a little bumpy—but that’s part of the adventure. Just be mindful of “mosquito hour” right at sunset if you’re riding back from town!

This place was a great opportunity to experience Belize from a local perspective. We came during Easter, which was a very lively party. During and especially after the festivities, Claudia‘s place felt like a home and refuge away from home. It was a beautiful space and super convenient. We were very impressed from our arrival to our departure. We will definitely be keeping this place at the top of our list for our next Belizean excursion!

Wonderful experience. Sherri and Jim were fantastic and their place was gorgeous. They made sure we knew where to go and what to do. The property is amazing. Beautiful view, quiet and peaceful. They accommodated our requests and helped coordinate and rental golf carts and helped set up our beach messages. We are looking forward to visiting again!

We had an excellent stay at this Airbnb in southern Belize! It was about a 20-minute golf cart ride to town, and just two doors down was Playa De Sala adult boutique hotel, where we enjoyed delicious food ordered through Whattsapp and a lovely rooftop restaurant. The house had a well-equipped kitchen (no dishwasher) and was super clean, with plenty of towels. While the pool was smaller than expected and had only two lounge chairs, there was additional outdoor seating and a short private dock that wasn’t shown in the photos. Both king bedrooms (one upstairs with stunning sunset views) were spacious and could be considered master suites. However, keep in mind that the beach area wasn’t swimmable due to a seawall. We loved our 7-day stay and wished we’d booked it for our entire two weeks instead of moving to a condo. If we return to Belize, we’d choose this place again without hesitation.

This being my third stay at Turtleback Hideaway I am obviously biased - however - when you find the best spot to stay in Caye Caulker and the most amenable hostesses - why would you stay anywhere else? Perfect for a couple - great for a small younger family (2-4) - oppulent for a solo traveler. Centrally located - easy walk to anywhere - secluded secure courtyard and a great porch. Claudia and Alej (Angel too) are the best! Already nailing down my 2025 dates and will count down the days. Thank you Claudia and Company for another great week!

We are three families spanning three generations and we all absolutely loved our stay. The villa is beautiful. There are enough living spaces for everyone to spread out. The pool was the perfect size for the school-age kids, and was cleaned daily. Johnny and Cora couldn't have been nicer and responded quickly to any questions. We booked two snorkeling trips with Johnny. He and Israel were so patient and helpful with the ocean newbies. One caveat … don't expect to snorkel off the beach in this area … it is much too shallow. Thanks for the tropical memories!

We had so much fun at the house and would highly recommend it! The only thing to be mindful of is that it's about a 20-25 minute commute into town. The road is also a little tough to drive after a storm. Other than that you can arrange all activities to be picked up from the dock. The house is clean and has multiple kitchens. The ACs worked great and the host is extremely responsive and thorough. Definitely recommended for big groups and those looking for a more private setting.

The staff was very professional, lovely people, great manners. we felt right at home, the place was beautiful . Front desk was very helpful, I would highly recommend the palms.

We stayed here twice during our visit to Belize and found it to be wonderful both times. Laura is an excellent host. We loved the extra touch of the handwritten note and the delicious coconut bread. We easily walked for coffee and dinner and even enjoyed the picturesque pool. Would happily recommend this stay!
