We had an amazing weekend. The Lookout was great. It had everything you needed, and the views across to Lindisfarne were stunning. The log burner on the veranda made sitting outside on a night, on a chilly Easter weekend, the perfect place to switch off and relax. The bus stop right outside the entrance was also a big bonus to get us back after a long day walking.

We had a relaxing week long stay here and absolutely loved it. The hut is kitted out with everything we needed, and for those used to hit stays it is perfect. The bed is comfortable and therrs plenty of space. We were treated to amazing dawn & dusk choruses, as well as seeing various wildlife from the hut including hares, pheasants, chiff chaff & even house martins. The hosts are warm and friendly, and the cake on arrival was delicious! We're already looking forward to another visit!

We stayed three nights at the Dinnings Lodge. Upon arrival the reception called us to check our arrival time with the keys ready. It was such a smooth check in, we didn’t require any support throughout our stay as everything is signposted and amenities are great! What a beautiful house, super clean inside, lovely decor, we were truly sad to leave. Our kids 10 & 5 enjoyed the secluded garden, it’s full of wildlife, rabbits literally on the door step. Play park was also great and the woodland walk is just amazing, we saw deer! The location is spot on, easy to commute and as we had an EV car, Tesla supercharger is 5 mins away. The house itself has an underfloor heating, it’s so cosy and the kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and a washing machine. Beds are comfy, modern throughout. The caravan site is so quiet, well maintained. Thank you for such amazing stay and lovely memories.

Communication with Connor was great, prompt and very helpful. Lovely property, and a nice welcoming experience, even without someone actually being present. We felt very relaxed and found staying there very peaceful. Great location for our visit to start exploring the region, shame it was only a flying visit. The Shepherd's Hut is an absolute gem. We loved our stay there. It is peaceful, private, has everything you could possible need and has the added bonus of the most stunning views. We sat and watched the sunset to the west each evening while admiring the sea views to the east. The hut is well kitted out but feels spacious. And we loved having such friendly chickens as neighbours. Already planning our next trip.
