Homely cottage in the national park

This cozy summer cottage is located in the heart of Bohemian Switzerland National Park in the north of the Czech Republic. The symbol of this National Park – Pravčická brána (Prebischtor) is only 7 km far from our homely cottage. This place is unique because of many possibilities for hiking, cycling, relaxing or for mushroom gathering as well. In a couple of minutes you can cross the border and enjoy other interesting places in Germany. The cottage offers 2 bedrooms with 3 beds upstairs and 1 sofa bed downstairs. The living room is a perfect place to sit with family or friends, play the desk games and have a nice time by the fireplace. Television has mostly German and Czech channels. The kitchen is well equipped with the fridge, the stove, the oven, the coffee machine, the microwave, the kettle and the dishes. Clean towels and linen, soap, shampoo and hairdryer are provided. There is a grill with seating in the garden; a roofed pergola with additional seating behind the cottage offers privacy and rest in the nature. Because we want to keep the unique atmosphere of the place, the cottage does not have a Wi-Fi connection.

The large half-timbered house of the cloth merchant C.W. Henke in Upper Lusatia: built in 1831 and carefully renovated with the original doors, windows and floorboards, Meissen tiled stoves, traditional linseed oil paints and historic wallpaper from the 1930s. Great place! Loved the sauna and the fireplace, the bed was really comfortable and it was so relaxing to be in nature. Only recommendation, It has a Nespresso machine but no stores nearby sold pods so if you're a coffee fan I'd suggest bringing your own pods! We had a brilliant trip

The construction trailer is really nice and it has almost everything you need for a nice break. We enjoyed it very much for the 3 days. Washing the dishes was a little more difficult because the construction trailer has no water connection, but that was also clear. The bed was very cozy and equipped for cold nights with 2 blankets each. In addition, we were pleased with the fireplace, which offered another plus in terms of coziness with firewood already provided. The large window overlooking the field was simply fantastically beautiful and kept what was promised by this construction trailer. We would definitely recommend it.

We were here in a large family group (7 people) and the size of the house was ideal for us. We felt very comfortable and it was a great experience to live in such a timber-framed house. The mix of antique and modern is very successful. Otherwise, the house was super equipped, we had everything we needed. In addition, a quiet location in a beautiful environment and a perfect starting point for hikes, for example to the Bieleboh and Czorneboh mountains.

It was a wonderful place, great for what we had planned. We were in a car so it was quiet. I believe that without a car we would face difficulties, but as we were in a car it was very quiet. It even had parking, a clean house, heating, it had everything we needed, the only thing it didn't have was a microwave, but it ended up not being so necessary. The water mattress that I thought would be a problem was wonderful, the experience, I recommend it to anyone who wants tranquility and is in a car, great place, I intend to return
