Really nice little place, surprisingly spacious. Comfy bed and had everything we needed for a few nights away. Really helpful host lots to do nearby and great to connect to further into the lake district.

From our welcome, which included home made scones and a fresh pot of tea served to the accommodation, we were made to feel at home. Very helpful and easy to talk to!! Some great suggestions as far as places to eat out and where to buy locally made and sourced foods. We’ll definitely revisit to this corner of The Lakes again. Wish we’d booked another night!!

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay, a nice king size bed , spotless throughout with beautiful surroundings. Angela was extremely friendly and flexible. I wish we'd booked a few more nights here.

Beautiful property, really felt home from home as soon as we stepped inside. Lovely touch with the welcome tray and the dog bedding and blankets. Comfortable and peaceful despite being close to road. Garden is very secure although not directly accessible from the house. Upside down property, so views from living room are lovely - bathroom and bedrooms downstairs. The recommended walk up the hill behind is well worth doing - stunning views! Also Arnside is well worth a visit (fish and chip shop is amazing) and the food at both Levens Hall and Strickland Arms (both very dog friendly) is fantastic. Property has everything you could possibly need and is nicely away from the busiest parts of the Lake District while still being close enough to be very accessible. Definitely hope to be back.
