A very quirky cottage, beautiful interior , lovely little garden with a seating area, parking for one car . Great location close to the high road , for provisions, coffee shops, restaurants, take aways etc( cottage very peaceful, no traffic noise) nice walks nearby for walking the dogs. Ideal location for me as I was visiting family and friends nearby . Owners live next door should you need them ( I didn’t , as everything was catered for) Will definitely be back . I’ve seen a few reviews saying the pictures don’t do it justice and it’s so true! Absolutely stunning, quiet and very clean. Hottub and BBQ covered great for all weather. On site butchers is amazing and Callum the butcher such an asset to the farm. Nice walks and amazing scenery. We will definitely be re booking!

The cottage was beautiful and the decor and furniture all very tasteful and the overall effect was homely. It is in a lovely location on the village green and within easy access to lots of places to visit as well as Oxford. We had a lovely relaxing visit. Would highly recommend Gardeners Cottage.

Ideal spot for a very relaxed couple of days with friends. The house is spacious, comfortable and excellently equipped for young families. We loved being able to walk to the local park and pub, both a short stroll through the pretty village. The generous garden and friendly ponies at the end of the lane were both big bonuses for us! Claire was great at answering our questions and sent very helpful info ahead of our stay. We’d definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay at the Back Door Cottage for a family event that we had travelled to Wheathampstead for. Lynne was very communicative from the start and also very organised in sending out the check in info - thank you. The house is very quaint and obviously has a lot of history but has been refurbished so you have the modern comforts needed to make it feel like at home. Will be back when visiting family. Would highly recommend.

Sally’s place felt like going through a portal into a magical garden. The house was so cozy with beautiful vintage decor and an amazing fireplace. The highlight of the trip was eating breakfast outside by the river and watch the ducks. And can’t forget about the lovely host Sally is! Always responsive and helpful with lots of good food and nature walks recommendations.

A hidden gem in the countryside! We absolutely loved our stay at this beautifully located place. The accommodation is newly furnished, very functional, and incredibly stylish – it felt like home right away. The interior is high-quality and thoughtfully designed. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking and enjoying nature. A fabulous property in a lovely location. The house was immaculate with everything you could want in a kitchen, big squishy sofa, comfy bed and a beautiful little garden. Rachel was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. I have allergies and Rachel was so kind to clean with products I can tolerate, which I really appreciated. We had a lovely time and hope to book again soon.

The barn was the perfect stay for our long Easter weekend visiting family, and our first stay away from home with our 9 month old baby. The barn was more spacious than we anticipated and is clearly very lovingly maintained. The surroundings were beautiful and Brian and Georgie made sure that we were comfortable and felt welcome. We went on a short, local walk recommended by Brian and visited the nearby Buttery for a fantastic lunch. We will definitely book in again if we are in the area visiting family in the future.

We stayed at this cottage with my parents and our 1 year old daughter, whilst visiting the Harry Potter Studio which was a short drive away! It was a really lovely cottage in a lovely area. The cottage had everything you needed and was clean and tidy. The bedrooms were cosy and beds very comfy. Paul was very helpful with my requests regarding the baby gates and cot, which made our stay with a 1 year old very easy! Highly recommend this cottage!

What a wonderful place to stay! The lodge is lovely and so spacious. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. We unfortunately didn’t have the opportunity to use the hot tub but it looked fab. Lovely to be able to take the dogs, even if the fields full of rabbits did create rather a lot of excited barking from the 1 year old. I would definitely recommend a visit here and hope to return in the future.

Stayed for one night, as a family. Accommodation was very clean, great layout and comfortable beds. Carvery restaurant and bar within a few minutes walk. Train station next door for connection into London. Supermarkets and shops within a 5 minute drive. Highly recommend

We had a lovely 3 night stay at The Loft. The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. Sarah was a brilliant host and gave us lots of information and was there to meet us at check in. We didn’t know anything about Tring before our stay and were really pleasantly surprised by lovely it is. Lovely little shops and some really nice restaurants. Black Goo is well worth a visit for the amazing cakes and Storia was great for an evening meal. Thank you Sarah!
