Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. E' raggiungibile con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico : gli autobus C30 C31 C32 con partenza ogni ora circa dalla stazione ferroviaria Como San Giovanni , Como Lago Ferrovie Nord o da Piazza Matteotti in direzione Como- Bellagio, impiegano circa 8 min per raggiungere la fermata Blevio - Decorazioni Savio, distante 100 m circa dall' abitazione. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

Le logement de Patrizia était vraiment parfait, il est plus grand que ce qu’il paraît sur les photos et il est extrêmement bien équipé. Vous y trouverez tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Patrizia vit dans la maison juste à côté et a été très accueillante avec nous. L’emplacement est paisible et le petit bruit de l’eau de la rivière était très agréable, nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps si on avait pu!

What a beautiful apartment looking over the lake. The location is quiet and relaxing. We stayed for 4 nights and explored the area it was easy to get around. The apartment has everything you could ask for. Patrizia & GianFranco were great hosts and very responsive. We hope to return again.

Die Wohnung von Valentina ist sehr sauber und schön. Der Blivk auf den Lago Maggiore ist fantastisch. Wir waren Anfang Juni dort und es war in der Nacht wirklich ruhig, man konnte mit offenen Fenstern schlafen. Alles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Ein Parkplatz wäre hilfreich, aber man liest ja in der Beschreibung, dass es keinen Parkplatz und keine Klimaanlage gibt, von daher weiß man ja vorher Bescheid. Wir würden wieder kommen, für uns war es die perfekte, kleine Wohnung ! 💖 Danke Valentina ! 🥰

Realment un espai i una gent fantàstica. Tant la casa com el jardí és meravellós, ben cuidat i molt net. Les instal·lacions són molt noves i ben equipades i ordenades. L'altra part important foren els amfitrions Paolo i Daniele, ens van explicar la casa i l'entorn. Les seves aportacions sobre el territori en foren de gran ajuda per fer turisme. Amb les seves explicacions amables vàrem aprendre costums i fets molt interessants de la zona, de l'hort i dels animals. Tot està pensat per passar una estança tranquil·la i amb respecte cap als animals. Moltes gràcies, Paolo i Daniele.

Wir haben uns von Anfang bis Ende sehr wohl in der Wohnung gefühlt. Die Einrichtung ist nicht nur geschmackvoll, sondern mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet – man spürt die Hingabe in jedem Raum. Paolo und seine Frau waren sowohl vorab als auch während unseres Aufenthalts jederzeit erreichbar und äußerst hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns das Gefühl gegeben, wirklich willkommen zu sein – fast wie zu Hause. Die Umgebung ist angenehm ruhig und ideal, um einfach mal abzuschalten. Absolute Empfehlung!

Beautiful cozy cottage right on Lake Como! We loved our stay here. The kitchen was great and the host provided the first morning essentials (eggs, butter, coffee, yogurt, milk) which was a life saver. We really enjoyed the outdoor shower and the incredible Finnish sauna! We swam off the dock in the lake daily and hung out in the yard with so many beautiful ducks and swans! There are a couple good restaurants within walking distance, but do be aware you have to walk on a busy road to get to the closest town which is Lierna (10 minute walk). We did not have a car and it was not a problem with the ferry and the proximity to town. I highly recommend this place and would book it again in a heartbeat.
