Monthly Rentals in Beckhampton

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Longstones and the surrounding area were both very beautiful and peaceful. The converted barn (Kennet) with it's original footprint and features, yet modern interior, was perfectly suited for our weekend getaway, making the whole experience quite memorable. Having a chance encounter with the proprietor was also a highlight. Providing us with a personal history of Longstones, the surrounding area and Avebury itself! The village of Avebury was just a ten minute walk (through a church yard and field) away from the property. Avebury, with it's Neolithic and English Heritage attractions, is in my estimate, much better value for money than it's other Neolithic neighbour in Stonehenge. Highly Recommended !!!

The conker cottage is a lovely extension to the owner’s house, but you feel completely private. You can park in front of the house in their garage with no problem at all. It is very close to Avebury famous stones and National Trust. It is workable distance to the main sites and the whole area is spectacular on its own right. Famous White Horses all over!! Linda was a very nice host. We even got a chance to meet her. She was very attentive to make sure everything was okay and even left some fruit and chocolate eggs for Easter for us. The cottage itself is modern and clean perfect for a family with one child. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience there and we certainly recommend it.

Such a friendly welcoming space. Charlotte was a great host and we totally loved the Nag Stable ... highly recommend for a break away in picture perfect English countryside surroundings.... and such a sumptuous comfortable bed. Would have loved to stay longer. Thank you Charlotte and family ...we'lll definitely be back!

The cottage is charming! It’s super well located - right in the heart of Avebury and you can literally see the some of the stones from the bedroom windows! Prehistoric sites like west Kennet long barrow are a mere 5 min drive away. The cottage is warm and cosy, and the kitchen is very well stocked. Terence is a great host. He’s very responsive, and he even left us a bottle of apple juice made from the apples from his garden. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come here again!
