The Malthouse - Alnwick. Free Parking

AvrilRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A beautiful apartment fully equipped, warm and very comfortable. The apartment was spotlessly clean and in the perfect location for visiting Alnwick. The rooms were spacious and a supermarket was just 2 minutes walk away. As an EV driver I would recommend the rapid Ionity chargers at Cawledge business park 1.8 miles from the property in preference to the ac chargers adjacent to the Malthouse which had a 4 hr time limit and charged at 11 KW max. The owner’s communication was prompt and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

Herringbone Cottage

ClémenceRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A really nice property, which looks even better than in the photos. For a family of two adults and two children, there was more than enough space and the beds were really comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the location, and the ease of access to the harbour (one minute walk) to spend hours looking for crabs on the shore! It’s very quiet and we would happily come back again :)

One of the nicest cottages we have stayed in. Clean, extremely comfortable with everything you could need and lots of little extra touches. Great for the dogs with secure garden and loads of beach walks a short drive away and a really nice long loop walk around nearby fields right from the door. You really feel at home and we had an amazing week. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you

The Lobster pot. Cosy stylish house by the sea

John JosephRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely accommodation you want for nothing very well maintained and presented, beach is well within walking distance. The only disappointment was the local Cafe had closed but don't let this put you off. Neighbours were very friendly and visited the local church fate just up the road where we were really welcomed and enjoyed a couple of hours with the locals

Puddler's Cottage

GaynorRating, 5 stars4 days ago
A lovely cottage to stay in. Easily accessible & lots of shops, bars & restaurants close by. Everything was as stated when we booked the cottage & we were very happy with the accommodation. Anna even left us milk & nibbles for our arrival, which was most appreciated. Family have moved close to the cottage so hopefully if we visit again we will try to book Puddlers Cottage again. A lovely place to stay.

We had a lovely stay at Eyemouth holiday park in the caravan. The location is fantastic, short walk to Eyemouth beach and loads to do in the area. Kerr responded quickly to any of our questions and was really helpful. I’d definitely come back.

Honeymug, Branton

AnneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Honeymug provided the perfect backdrop for our group of six meeting up to reminisce about college days forty odd years ago! The cottage was comfortable and cosy and the welcome basket of goodies was indeed most welcome! Very comfortable beds to sleep off the long, coastal walks and swims in the indoor pool. We ate in The Bosk on our last evening and enjoyed it very much, having sampled the Friday evening pizzas too! Everyone was a fan of the outdoor jacuzzi, which we booked each evening and whirled away an hour chatting to the various local members we shared it with! Everyone was so friendly and we learned a lot about the area. Highlights were our boat trip to Inner Farne, an afternoon with the Chillingham cattle, and a day spent on the beautiful and peaceful Lindisfarne. We left feeling there was so much else to discover and we'll hope to be back to do just that! Many thanks John!

Luxury Double Lodge - 5 mins to the beach

HannahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Sue greeted us at the lodge on atribal and is such a kind hearted person. When she opened the door to let us in, we were blown away at the sheer size of it!! The photos do not do it justice at all - the lodge is one of the biggest we have stayed in with walk in wardrobes in both rooms. An en-suite to the master and a bath in the bathroom!! The decking got sun from mid day through night and it was tucked away in a quiet spot with a grassy area outside - probably in the best spot on the site by far!!! We went with 3 children (1,6 and 11) and were so happy to see there is a cot/high chair/ baby bath/bouncer/toys/books and lots of games for all ages - we could have left half of our stuff at home. The lodge has everything from air fryer to everything you could imagine needing from home. Sue - you have a beautiful lodge and we were grateful for the stay! Any message was responded to quickly and we would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone!!! Thank you so much ☺️

Tumbler Rocks Retreat - 150m from beach & hot tub.

Had a lovely stay at Tumbler Rocks. The house suited our group size and young children perfectly. It was very comfortable, clean and cosy with high chairs, stair gates and a cot. The location was great too with Seahouses a short distance on foot (and stunning views along the way!) There were great options of things to do further afield too!

Had a great stay, received a warm welcome with Wine, Crackers and Cheese. Was given clear instructions on how to get to the cottage, how to enter, all the local amenities and how to use all the facilities. Was the perfect cottage for our trip, 5 Adults and a fox terrier. Great location, a shortish walk to dunstanburgh castle, Caster and close to Alnwick by car. The cottage had everything we needed for the weekend and would highly recommend.

luxury modern large warm clean self catering

JoanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This house was a great find, our host Michael was really friendly and came over to the house when we arrived to show us the heating controls. The house is very spacious, the kitchen has everything you could want for however many days you are staying and the dining and sitting area has plenty of room for eating and relaxing. The upstairs is as comfortable and well equipped as downstairs. As the weather was good during our stay we made use of the outside sitting area which Michael has provided cushions for a comfortable sitting place. There's plenty to do in and around seahouses so this house is a great base for you to explore the beautiful Northumberland coast. All in all I would definitely recommend this property for a break away. The added bonus of shampoo/conditioner and body wash and also face wipes is an excellent touch.

Lovely and welcoming house, perfectly located to explore the region, and be able to come back to a quiet place for the evening/night. We came for a short stay (3 nights) with our 2 young kids, and found children books and a nice decked outdoor space outdoor at the back, both very nice additions. Emma is an attentive and proactive host, and excellent recommendations.

Limeworks Hemmel

JoannaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Wow... The Limeworks is stunning! We had a wonderful stay in the Hemmel, which has been beautifully crafted inside and out, with everything you need for a comfortable stay, and in a very lovely setting. We really enjoyed having views of the woodland and wildflower meadow, strolling along the winding paths through the grounds, and being able to hear nothing but the birds tweeting. Even more amazing was to have hares hopping around the lawn right outside the property! The location was ideal - so peaceful and relaxing, and great for exploring the countryside and coast. The hosts were very helpful and thoughtful and we valued their commitment to the environment and supporting the local wildlife. Big thanks!

We had a very enjoyable stay. Traditional house but with nice modern kitchen and bathroom. Everything we could want. Very large secure garden which suited our dog and would be good for children. Driveway is a little tight to get onto with a large car but gives secure off-road parking. Super location for the whole of the Northumberland coast. Highly recommended.
