It is a very cozy space best suited for a couple or single guest. Or travel with a pet - fully fenced yard provided.

My guest space is a small, private room (11x7, not incl bathroom) attached to the back of my house. The room has a private entrance off the backyard with an attached private bath. I offer keyless entry. Guests can enjoy the attached deck off the room and relax in a peaceful yard. The room is a burst of color to contrast with the gray days in Humboldt. The room is a short walk to the zoo and several restaurants. Old town is a quick drive.

Charming Cottage in Henderson Center

Johnnine’s cottage exceeded my expectations. I was in town for three weeks and spent two of the weeks at Johnnine’s place. The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to all things Humboldt—awe-inspiring redwoods, pristine beaches, great hiking and yummy restaurants. The cottage itself is the best equipped Airbnb I’ve experienced and I’ve stayed a lot of them. Every item you think you may need to cook meals is there. Also, toiletries down to beach towels all there for your convenience. The bed very comfortable and the sunroom my favorite spot to get cozy and read a book. The fenced yard was a lovely spot for my morning coffee. I look forward to staying at Johnnine’s cottage on each of my future visits with my kids and grandkids.

A great little place. We loved that we could bring our little dog with us without any fuss or extra fees - they even provided amenities for her such as a bed and a small, fenced yard. The space was comfortable, clean, and we felt immediately at home. We find ourselves in Eureka from time to time, and we will definitely look for this spot again!

This Eureka Haven was perfect for our last minute get away to the coast. Sandy was a wonderful host. She was very kind and made our stay quite comfortable. We felt right at home. The room was clean and exactly as described. Quiet peaceful back yard filled with nature and wildlife for us to relax and enjoy as well. We will definitely return to this little gem. Next time we will bring our fur babies. This one's a perfect score across the board.
