Wake to the song of birds, and fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. Located on 2 acres, sharing the property with the owner but both places separate and private. Very short distance up the road to many unique Humboldt beaches, Trinidad, Redwood National park. Arcata and Eureka just south 7 and 15 min.

Wake up to the redwoods, head into town to enjoy a cappuccino at a local coffee shop, located only 15 minutes away from the Arcata Plaza, come back to enjoy a dip in the hot tub, then get a goodnights rest on our memory foam mattress, 100% cotton sheets and memory foam pillows. 2nd set of sheets & pillows will only be included for 3+ guests! 4/20 friendly :) Property is shared with our main cabin. Welcome! You’ll be staying in the ground floor of our split level home that is nestled amongst the redwoods but still close to the coast. The apartment is accessed via a separate private entrance on the ground floor.. This private space is ideal as a home base for exploring the amazing Redwood Coast. The spacious yard with play equipment makes it a fun stay for families and the well appointed interior is comfortable for visiting professionals.

Whether you are adventuring or passing through, this charming retreat has everything you need. It's located down a quiet country road that feels far away from town but is only 4 easy miles from Arcata, home of Cal Poly Humboldt, and 6 miles to Eureka. The clean and freshly decorated space has a queen-sized bed and a full-size futon-style couch. Both beds have been reported as VERY comfortable!

Our renovated, quaint, studio cottage is a 10 minute walk to the Redwoods, 5 minutes to shops and a short drive to the beach. Little Buttermilk Cottage is nestled in a private garden setting in the quiet neighborhood of Sunny Brae.
