"A sheep in the church" renovated stone house

DaveRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Valérie’s place was exceptional! Every little detail was beautifully catered for from the quality linen to the yummy French teas and coffee pods. Valérie was the friendliest host and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and gave us so much local information and points of interest. We were sad to say goodbye. Definitely the best Airbnb we have stayed in.

4* HOUSE SEA VIEW TERRACE SEASIDE NORMANDY

JeffRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
There is one *major* problem that you will see the moment you enter the property: you will **never** (ever) want to leave. You may even start thinking through how you can leave your day job and move to Port-en-Bessin. The home itself is amazing. The top of our list after over a dozen Airbnbs in the last few years. It's everything they show online... and SO MUCH MORE! It's like living in a Normandy postcard. The house itself is awesome. Amazing. Spotless. Beautifully decorated and appointed. SUPER well equipped. The town is also amazing. It's the perfect home base for exploring the D-Day beaches/sites. Look... you'd be CRAZY not to book this property. So... what are you waiting for? Book now before you miss out. [Franck-Etienne: merci beaucoup for making our trip to Normandy so perfect . Your are really special folk - with the perfect home - and we can't wait to return!]

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Robin's! We were 3 families and everyone had their own space From start to finish, the communication was excellent and he was incredibly helpful and accommodating. It is particularly noteworthy that Robin got us shower mats – a small gesture, but one that shows how attentive he is and how important the comfort of the guests is to him. Thanks to Robin's friendly and helpful manner, we immediately felt at home. We highly recommend this place and Robin as a host and would love to come back anytime!

What an amazing place the pictures don’t do it justice. There was everything you need and more, it is very well equipped, from kitchen equipment, pool equipment and everyday necessities! We have two young boys and everything you require is already there. Our boys loved it, especially the play area and pool. Lovely hosts, lovely home and very clean and tidy If we are in the area again in the future we would no doubt book this again.

We cannot say enough great things about my stay at Sophie’s place — it was truly exceptional from start to finish. Sophie was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and responsive, making us feel at home the moment we arrived. Her hospitality set the tone for a warm and relaxing experience. The place itself was spotless. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it both cozy and beautifully maintained. It felt like a home away from home, with all the little touches that make a big difference — from linens to a well-equipped kitchen and inviting decor. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, centrally located to the Normandy sites. We appreciated how easy it was to get around. If you're looking for a comfortable, immaculately clean, and truly welcoming place to stay, look no further. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Sophie’s place to anyone. Merci et à bientôt.

Saint-Lô – House with pool and park view.

CharlotteRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Lovely home, pool and garden really make this home a great holiday. Local bakery and shops are only about a 10 minute walk which is perfect. We did feel that the pool wasn’t as warm as stated, however this may be a personal preference. Stephane was very helpful and when we had an issue she was able to sort it straight away! The house is definitely a home and you can feel that as soon as you arrive. There is things to do locally but I would say you need to be able to drive as most attractions are between 30min-1h away and saint lo doesn’t have much (especially for kids). Overall a really peaceful and relaxing holiday!

ClaireRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We enjoyed staying at the Farmhouse of which returning to the pool after a busy day out was a favourite of our teens. nice and clean with all that you need to self cater provided. good bed linen, towels and robes supplied. The village is outside of Caen , there are no amenities within the small village and we decided to eat out during our days out and could easily cook in the evenings with supermarkets within driving distance. A quiet and quaint village in the Normandy Countryside with the main towns and D Day Beaches a easy drive on good roads.

L'Aure du temps - Downtown Gîte - Entire House

FraserRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a brilliant week staying at Nicolas's house in Bayeux! The house is clean and comfortable and exactly as described in the listing. The garden was absolutely lovely, and being able to sit outside in the afternoon on the days when the sun was shining was always a great way to end the day. We were in Bayeux for a half-term family holiday that coincided with the anniversary of the D-Day landings. It is the perfect location to explore all of the key sights, most of which are within a 30 minute drive. The house is also very close to the centre of town which makes eating out and accessing the shops really easy. Nicolas's communication was really good and he was there to meet us when we arrived so there were no problems accessing the property. I would unreservedly recommend Nicolas's listing to other Airbnb users and, if we ever return to Bayeux, I would definitely choose to stay there again.
