Vacation rentals in Bassa

We loved staying here! the views out of the terrace and even the bathroom window were something I’ve never seen before, right out of a movie. About a 15 minute drive to the closest city, San Miniato, which has great restaurants. This was such a charming & peaceful place to stay in Tuscany, and the visits from the neighborhood cats on the terrace was a bonus! :)

The renovated church was incredibly interesting and I was fascinated by its long history. The church is nestled within a tranquil olive grove which made it easy to relax and disconnect from the stressors of the big city. Roberto was absolutely incredible and I cannot give higher praise—he is truly the standard when it comes to hosts. He was attentive, responsive to any issues, and helpful to solve any difficulties that we had with travel arrangements. It’s easy to see why this property is in such high demand. It was my first time staying in Tuscany and Roberto’s church is already calling me back for another stay! Most highly recommended.

Stunning location, local shop for great quality fresh food. Only a short walk into the old town and the train station for excursions further out.

Our stay in Domenica's place was absolutely flawless. It's a beautiful surrounding, we stayed for 2 weeks and the house facilitates everything you'll need nicely. Only small drawback is the shower cabin which is somewhat small. But everything you need is in close proximity (if you go by car anyway) and all the go-to places in Tuscany are easy to reach. Domenica was very helpful and offered us own-made food several times which was top notch, especially the pizzas. I can absolutely recommend this place!

The host was incredibly responsive and proactive, with great communication throughout. The house looked just like the photos—clean, comfortable, and exactly what we expected. There was everything you could need to feel at home: coffee, tea, water, even some candies, etc. Dish soap, paper towels etc. We were only there for the night so this is a HUGE plus as not all hosts do this. The town is beautiful, has GREAT FOOD, and the location of the house was perfect. Highly recommend!

We stayed in this apartment and had a really great time. The house is very clean and equipped with everything you need to cook, clean and live in total comfort. Self check-in was very convenient and quick, as well as check-out, thanks to the clear and precise instructions provided by Giovanni, the owner, always available, kind and ready to answer the phone for any questions or needs. The location is ideal for those looking for some tranquility away from the chaos of big cities, but still convenient: in about 45/50 minutes by car you can easily reach cities like Florence or Pisa. Absolutely positive experience, and for our next trip to Tuscany we have no doubt: we will definitely come back here! Thanks again, Giovanni!

Great experience, splendid house and still a very hom

We cannot say enough about how fantastic our stay was. Maybe the most gorgeous property we’ve ever seen - even better than the pictures! Pia was incredibly helpful, sent us a whole printout of recommendations for different restaurants, wineries, and things to do. She is incredibly kind, responsive, and proactive - she thought of everything you may need during your stay and gave us a tour of our home. Waking up in the Tuscan countryside and watching the sun rise over the vineyards was relaxing and beautiful. The sunsets were breathtaking to see over the rolling hills in Chianti. Castellina was a cute little town with fantastic places to eat and panoramic views of the valley. And on top of all that, we made a new friend in the Public Relations Manager, Teo - you can be sure you’ll be greeted with a wagging tail and a happy little smile. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!
