Ian was really helpful from start to finish. lovely house with lots of amenities. Parking space, lovely garden. We were very comfortable.

We had a great night at the wedge house. It’s a very cool quirky little house. Brilliant location for Adventure Island. Not the hosts fault but the street itself is quite run down and we had to listen to the boy racer cars all evening. But didn’t take away from the stay because us and the kids had a great time. Ria was very helpful as a host and was so kind to put up balloons and banners for us for my daughter’s birthday. I would definitely recommend for a trip to Southend.

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

We attended a wedding at Stock Brook Manor Golf Club, and the location for Little Pear tree was perfect about a 4min drive. Our host was very hospitable. He gave clear instructions and information on getting to the location before hand which was great. The cottage was gorgeous and had everything we needed. It was very clean with a stylish decor. I would highly recommend for all the reasons above and so much more. We had a very lovely time

A truly fantastic and spotlessly clean cottage in a prime location! We really appreciated the welcome essentials, chocolates and fresh flowers. We loved how convenient it was for all the shops, restaurants and cafes (fab coffee and cake at Tiny Tim's cafe). The proximity to West Gate city gate (just a couple of minutes) , the cathedral and the lovely riverside dog walks were fantastic. One of the highlights of our trip was a relaxing punt tour with lovely Mike from Westgate Punts, his historical knowledge and insights into Canterbury were fascinating (if you book a trip, make sure you ask for Mike). Janet, our host, was so lovely and incredibly helpful. A perfect getaway!

We've been coming to Whitstable for years on days out but never stayed. This was a magical find, so comfortable, so close to the beach, shops and restaurants but also just set back enough from the high street and the seafront to have real peace and quiet and feel secluded. A real treasure and we'd be happy to stay again. Kids (13yo twins) also really enjoyed it - and that's a tough audience! Thank you Krista and Seaside Properties!

Really nice a peaceful escape, everything you need all in one place. The swimming pool is alot bigger then the photos make out and the hottub was perfect to relax. Will defo return

Nice and relaxing place. Very well equipped especially the kitchen area. Welcoming big basket, even milk and butter in the fridge and ice cream. A little bit more cleaning needed and carpets especially. But a great ans beautiful place to stay, very friendly and communicative hosts.

How to start?? I would highly recommend Charles' place! When you get there and go up the stairs, you might think it's not going to be good. However, when you open the door you'll be taken back as to how beautiful his place is!! I felt right at home! Charles had wine, milk, OJ, bread and eggs. The sleigh bed was not only comfy but so pretty. He had great darkening curtains which also serve as a divider from the living room. The shower was welcoming. If I come back to London, I'd stay at Charles' place!

What can I say. Other than simply perfect. Natalie and Peter went truly above and beyond. The place was decorated so nicely for my 30th birthday. Everywhere was clean, and simply breath taking. Nothing was too much, I even had a blister and Natalie went and got me some plasters. The yurt is stunning, the little Annex you get with it was so lovely just to chill and watch tv in. The outdoor bath was perfect to sit and chill and look up at the stars. I’ve never experienced an air BnB like I did this weekend, it was one of a kind. I definitely will be going back! X

É stato bellissimo soggiornare qui. La casa ed il giardino sono splendidi, una vera oasi di pace. Polly è un’host molto gentile e disponibile e ha soddisfatto tutte le nostre richieste. they just checked all the boxes - clean, quiet, but great location, easy check-in.. great for business travel. the common spaces are fantastic, highly recommended

We had a lovely couple of nights stay. It was great to just be able to sit and chill. Would totally recommend staying here.

Vincent was extremely helpful with anything we needed to know and responded very quickly. the place was very unique with so much detail. even though it's end of his garden it did not feel like that as has been made to be very private. the jacuzzi was lovely with the fairy lights around it. the bottom bunk of the bed was so cozy and the tv in there made it even more enjoyable. and could even have a curtain round it. didn't want to get of bed 😅 also the bathroom had bird noices when you went in there which was a nice touch.

Can not fault this property ! Claire is lovely and responds very quickly and helps with any enquiries. I will continue to use her property! Thank you

We enjoyed our stay. The living room was a lovely space with the natural light pouring in through the windows. Leigh-On-Sea is nearby and had great spots to explore. The Hamlet Court is within walking distance. The food & drinks were superb! Lots of great gems all through this area of where we stayed.

What's not to love about this place? Absolutely nothing. The pictures are exactly how the room is, it maybe small but there is everything you need! As well as the basic kitchen equipment there is a hot plate, slow cooker and egg cooker, cafetiere, tea pot and complimentary tea, coffee, milk pots and biscuits. The bedding and towels were top notch . Everything was spotless the crockery and glasses included. The balcony has a table and 2 comfy chairs where you can sit and relax listening to the birds in the garden. It is very peaceful. Both Jonathan & Jackie are fantastic hosts, they respond quickly to messages and are both very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a 3 night break and was fully refreshed and relaxed. Cliffs Pavilion is only a short 5 min walk, Rossi Ice cream about another 5 mins down steps to seafront. This was our 2nd time staying but will definitely be back.

Wir hatten eine superschöne Woche bei Chris und Sophia. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und gemütlich. Die Kinder haben den Garten genossen. Die Umgebung um Maldon ist sehr schön, das Städtchen hat einige schöne kleine Läden und Restaurants. Den Kindern hat besonders der Promenade Park gut gefallen. Da wir mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln unterwegs waren, empfanden wir die Reise nach London etwas umständlich und lang. Einen Tag verbrachten wir am Meer in Clacton on Sea, was für uns Schweizer auf jeden Fall ein Highlight war.

Sandy was there to meet us on arrival which was really lovely. She couldn’t do enough for us and we felt welcome. She was contactable at all times. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen area was perfect for us and had all we needed for a comfortable weekend. The bed was huge and really comfortable. The cabin was warm and the heating was easy to adjust. It was private and very quiet. Very safe and secure. It’s a really beautiful location and if we are in the area again we’d definitely try and book a slot with Sandy.

Lovely little house. Duncan made it very welcoming and even left some things out for the dog. We had a lovely 3 night stay and were very comfortable. Thank you
