'The Little House' - in the centre of Stock

'The Little House' ( my grandson's name for it it) is a hidden gem, tucked away in the centre of the lovely village of Stock. It is a detached, converted small barn with its own entrance, key box and allocated parking space in front. You'll find this accommodation light and airy and very private, decorated with a sailing theme throughout. There are two village shops (with late opening hours) , a hairdresser and beauty salon, four pubs and a cafe within less than five minutes walk.

The village itself has 2 pubs and lots of walking routes nearby. Paper Mill Lock is a pleasant 30 min walk and has water sport facilities and tea room. Footpath maps available. Travel cot or single fold out guest bed avail on request, no additional cost.

Plenty of local shops within a 5-15 minute walk and a 20-30 minute walk to Leigh broadway, Old Leigh/beach and Leigh station. EV charger available. A small south-facing patio available for guest use. Spacious, light and airy self contained bungalow in a peaceful location, situated within the gated grounds of our house in an Essex village just outside Billericay close to A127 and M25. Our bungalow has proven ideal for contractors. We have secure parking for your vehicle, please let us know if you have more than one. The bungalow it has its own small yard. If you are booking on behalf for an employee please let me know their mobile number for our gate system.

Our eco friendly cottage sits at the front of our family run farm. We have adopted a green approach to living with photovoltaic electric and ground source heat pump underfloor heating. This self contained one bedroom bungalow has its own front door entrance and is a huge comfortable space to relax, rest and recuperate for a short break away or after work. It is available to book for one day or more and we offer a discount for monthly bookings.
