Vacation rentals with lake access in Barton Springs

This is an adorable lakefront house in a charming neighborhood. We spent most of our Austin trip relaxing together at the house, instead of visiting attractions around town. That's just what the group wanted to do! Sun, water, lake life, turtles and friends. This is a great house for all enjoying all of that.

We had an amazing stay at Jesse’s place. The hilltop view was gorgeous. We enjoyed time at the pool, and the walk to the lake made a nice morning or afternoon stroll! The beds were super comfortable, and we cooked using the outside stovetop. It was a great getaway and in a safe neighborhood! Would definitely go again!

We had a fabulous stay at this property. Gorgeous location and plenty of extra amenities. Kathy is a very responsive host that gave great local recommendations and keeps her house well stocked with everything you might need. She is very thoughtful too, it was my daughter’s first birthday and when we arrived we were welcomed with a balloon and birthday candle that made the stay feel extra special. Beds are quite comfy and she was also able to provide a crib for my daughter. Beautiful views especially at sunset. Pool was clean and felt refreshing after our swims. Plenty of grilling options to choose from as well. We would definitely stay here again 👍

Jay was an awesome hostess, keeping great communication from the time we booked until we left. He really shows interest in their guests having a perfect experiencel We had a great stay at this beautiful property. It is well decorated and well maintained, and it had everything we needed to feel right at home. There are many amenities to entertain your group, and the backyard is such a treat. I would definitely recommend this home for your next getaway!Overall 10/10! Hope to come back soon!

The place was great, it looked just like the photos and it was so nice and clean! Everything went smoothly upon arrival and it was easy to get to. Candace was so responsive our entire stay, she was a wonderful host and was very attentive. I would definitely stay there again!!

Caught up with friends over a lan party here. House was great for hosting with 1gig internet speed. Back yard was a great place to hangout over a game of provided corn hole. Definitely recommend!

I had an amazing experience staying at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The bed was super cozy, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the overall atmosphere made me feel right at home. Brad (the host) was incredibly responsive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right before and during my stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Place was beautiful. Neighbors were really friendly. All the amenities were such a plus and my kids enjoyed the pool and the beach the most. We really enjoyed the golf-cart and took it around to explore. This was a great get away in a peaceful place.

BEAUTIFUL location and home!!! Extremely picturesque, feels secluded and private, the bathroom is gorgeous, all the amenities are perfect and George and Kim were amazing hosts, went above and beyond to make sure we were extremely comfortable and had a great vacation.

We enjoyed our stay with Delta Vista, they were kind to decorate the apartment special for our honeymoon at my request. The apartment was in great condition and had all the amenities listed, we were comfortable at their place.

We had an amazing time staying at Kanieshiear’s place in the casita! From the moment we stepped inside, we felt right at home. The casita was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything my husband and I needed to feel comfortable. Kanieshiear was super helpful, sharing great local tips, and both she and her husband were quick to respond to any questions we had. Thanks to the peaceful surroundings, we enjoyed restful nights of sleep! The other guests and locals we met were very friendly, and we had a blast during Karaoke Night at the restaurant downstairs. One of the best moments was waking up to the stunning view of Lake Travis from our balcony. We can't wait to return and make this our favorite spot for a relaxing getaway!

Great base to explore Austin at the quiet end of 6th Street but still surrounded by some great restaurants and bars.

The host was amazing—super friendly, quick to respond, and a great communicator. All instructions were easy to follow, and check-in/check-out was effortless. The apartment was more spacious than expected, and the decor was incredible—every detail was thoughtfully themed (yes, including the bongo drums—alright, alright, alright). It felt like a boutique hotel. It was also incredibly quiet, which was a nice surprise given the central location. We slept great and had plenty of room to relax. The whole space was spotless and well-equipped. The building amenities were a major bonus. The gym was clean and well-stocked, and the rooftop pool area was stunning with beautiful views of downtown Austin. Everything felt secure and well-kept. The location can’t be beat. Just one block from West 6th, we were steps away from amazing restaurants, live music, and unique bars. We walked almost everywhere and barely touched the car all weekend. We’re already looking forward to staying again!

We try to stay here every time we come to Austin to visit family and friends. The condo is comfortable, cute and conveniently located. Luiz and Cristina always go out of their way to make us feel welcome.

We had such a great time at Joes place. It was just as described. Great location walkable to most things on East Cesar Chavez and not far from downtown either. Joe was super helpful and we couldn’t have asked for a better host and stay. Would definitely recommend. 10/10

Cozy place, ideal for a near but not in Austin getaway with friends. Very clean. New fluffy towels. Peaceful surroundings, however we were there midweek and never saw any neighbors so that may be why. Loved it was pet friendly for our pup. The one bedroom has a door that goes to the fenced in back yard which was super convenient. And the back porch was perfect for morning coffee or just to unwind in the evenings.

great host, beautiful home and right next to the lake if you wanna swim, I would definitely recommend staying here especially if your wanting to visit austin.

We had an excellent stay at Nancy’s place - amazing views from the deck and the pool was a wonderful place to spend the day. The house itself is well appointed with everything we needed. Great to have access to the boat dock with two kayaks. It’s a shame the water is lower than usual - can imagine how amazing it must be when the water is high! - but it was still great to paddle up towards the lake. Definitely hope to visit again!

John's unit, located within Barton Creek Lakeside, is just great. Well furnished with everything one might need and actually is even more lovely than the pictures present. Very comfortable in all ways. We rented both sides to this duplex for a family gathering and it could not have worked out more perfectly. Do not hesitate to stay here. Really nice.

Quiet, private location. Love that we could take our dogs. Loved: spacious living areas, screened porch & deck (although we used it less than expected due to weather), bluebonnets. Beds comfortable, kitchen stocked. Bring bottled water. Loved seeing & feeding the deer every night & morning. We brought extra deer corn. Took our Roku for the TVs. We expected to have access to the washer/dryer which is in the listing. Wasn’t a deal killer, but we didn’t bring as many clothes because of that and weather got chilly. We knew the river might be low, but would have good to know in advance just how low it was as well as the difficulty getting down to the river. We had to cut our own path through the weeds. It’s a bit of a challenging hike. We were able to catch several large fish from the shore (bass & catfish). Can see lots of stars & sunsets. Overall, a very homey & comfortable place to stay.

Andrea's place was exactly as described. My wife and I had a relaxing weekend here at this humble house in a great area, close to wineries, Austin, and the lakes. Would definitely come back again.

10 out of 10!! This place is beautiful, has every kitchen amenity we could think of, super comfy beds, and a welcome basket with local things to do and snacks. Cam was a great host and we hope to come back again soon!

Loved it here! This was a great find. It was a nice clean room overlooking the river and was on very pretty grounds alongside other rentable cabins. The Spicewood location right on the Pedernales and along lake travis was wonderful, truly waterside with easy access to the kayaks/canoes/paddleboards which you can rent through Travis quickly and conveniently. After sunset I had plenty of room to set up my telescope and had a great view of the moon and stars over the water. It’s right down the street from Krause and several other hillcountry gems. Great host. I’d totally come back.
