The home and location was excellent. Everything was as described or better. Would definitely go back

We booked this for a family trip to see some relatives in the area. There was 4 adults and 2 kids. there was plenty of space for us. The house was beautiful and the outdoors was great. the house you could tell was well loved and had everything we could want.

We had a wonderful stay. JoAnn was very friendly and helpful. She had wonderful instructions that covered every detail. I would highly recommend JoAnn as a host.

Quick girls trip. Such a cute lake house. It is set back in a little cove - so swimming was not an option, but grabbed the kayaks and paddle boat and headed out to the lake for a swim. So peaceful and relaxing. Also lots of small restaurants close by to grab breakfast or dinner. Nicely decorated and comfy. Paula was quick to respond to my questions and super friendly. Also loved taking an evening walk -lots of friendly families. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wanted a nice quiet getaway.

Despite the short notice, our stay at this place was truly exceptional. The space was not only welcoming but also incredibly spacious, providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience throughout our visit. Every detail contributed to a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it a stay to remember. I would highly recommend this place to others and would gladly return in the future.

We really enjoyed our time at Paul’s Gun Lake cottage home. Easy checkin and everything was very comfortable for our 5 adults. We attended a wedding at Baypointe which is right down the road. We rented a pontoon boat and explored Gun Lake which is incredible! Lakeside Pizza yum with local flavor and Tom’s meats and gourmet food for groceries is amazing! We enjoyed an evening fire in the solo stove too. Wonderful place!

This was a great AirBnB. Recommended. Excellent location with nice frontage. Very good fishing from the dock for young kids and adults alike. They did a great job with the house--the common areas are spacious and the bedrooms are private. Everything works and was very clean. The screened in porch/sunroom area is awesome. Boats were in good shape! Great spot for a family getaway. Like most lake properties in Michigan, the frontage area is visible to neighbors. Fortunately, everyone was extremely nice and very quiet. Evenings were relaxing, and it felt private. Definitely a family lake area, and not a party spot. As noted in the listing, there is only one bathroom in the main house, and the bathroom in the separate laundry area is unfinished. The other item to note is that this is not a particularly great spot in the lake to swim--fairly weedy and muddy. The sandy beach in town is only a short drive away, however. Host was very proactive and responsive.

Mark’s place was absolutely stunning! Sits right on Gun Lake. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets can be seen from front to back. Extremely clean & full of whatever supplies you may need. Very communicative & knowledgeable of the area.

Sarah was, by far, the best host we have ever had. I had a lot of questions before we booked and she answered every one of them, was really patient with me and took a lot of time to be sure I had all the info I wanted. The house is really nice. Beds are very comfy. The master bath is big. Sarah thought of EVERYTHING in terms of amenities. I needed a shower cap, and she had one. We needed a first aid kit, and she had one. We needed a light bulb, and she had one. She stocked things you would never think of. Her response time is super fast. We loved the kayaks, deck in the tree and the swings. I can't say enough about how wonderful Sarah was. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing—if not better. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the little touches like fresh towels, coffee, and local recommendations made it feel extra special. The host was incredibly responsive and friendly, providing clear instructions for check-in and check-out, and checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, with great restaurants and shops just a short walk away. Whether you’re visiting for work or leisure, this is the perfect home base. Out of town guests to attend a wedding. Everything in this home was completely comfortable accommodation, beautiful location, peaceful, Sarah communicated promptly. Our stay was amazing and will make it our choice again and refer to family and friends. Thank you Sarah for also saving the weekend. (The previous airbnb had cancelled us 2 weeks prior to wedding, guess sometimes things happen for a reason is true, worked in our favor)

The lake house was beautiful and everything was just as described, we had more than enough towels and linens along with toiletries and dish and laundry soap, furniture was comfortable and there was enough for our family of 4 we enjoyed the the beach area very much they even had beach toys in the shed for our little. He was very responsive and friendly.

Went for a long weekend away with our 2 dogs and close friends. Our husbands enjoyed the canoeing and fishing from the dock, our dogs absolutely loved playing in the water, I laid out each morning on the dock, and my friend laid around reading her book. It was exactly what we wanted a peaceful, relaxing weekend away. The little house was adorable and very cozy. We truly enjoyed it.

Our stay wasn’t long enough! It was a beautiful home with a lot of amenities! My kids loved the paddle boat and paddle boards and the neighbor kids were super friendly! We caught tons of fish and soaked up as much sun as we could! Katherine was a great host and very helpful and responsive with any questions I had!

Joy’s place was fantastic. The house is beautiful and just a few steps away from the lake. It’s also at the bottom of the hill which many houses in the area are not so you have a steep walk to the water usually. That is not the case here. The back patio had a very nice grill and there were kayaks available. I used them frequently for fishing. Wall lake is a great Bass fishing lake.

We stayed at Mark's place while skiing all weekend at Bittersweet. We had a great time! Mark was super helpful and accommodating and even offered my husband to borrow his skis :) he hooked us up with discounted passes and had great local recommendations. We'll definitely be back! Thanks, Mark :)

Wow is the only words. definitely a 10 out of 10. The house was immaculately clean. very well stocked and organized. We were on a girls trip and we had the best time.

This home is quite small, as you can see, but WONDERFULLY stunning and comfortable. Taste and design are meticulous. Very comfortable beds and linens. Great ambiance and amenities. Kitchen and bathroom are both downstairs in the walk out basement, not necessarily a problem for most, I could see the kitchen was down there, but it didn’t seem like the bathroom was. Fine for me, a little challenging at night for my elderly Mom. Otherwise zero issues, gorgeous view, nice amenities, and super responsive, kind and caring host. You can tell they want you to be super comfortable. Will definitely stay here again, probably with my spouse. Perfect place for a couples getaway as well! The primary bedroom with the larger bed is on the back of the house with breathtaking views of the lake.

Mary was a very nice and gracious host. She was very responsive, provided all items needed at the bnb and even gave us recommendations that we followed up on. The cabin is beautiful and fit 5 adults perfectly. You could easily add a couple more people if needed. We all had plenty of space. Absolutely stunning location- peaceful and beautiful. There is minimal phone/internet service-just a heads up. However, my group found that this allowed for less phone distraction, adding to the peacefulness of the weekend. Fabulous place!

Jason was an incredible host! We were greeted with s’mores and an awe-inspiring view of the lake. Early check-in was incredibly helpful, especially since we had last-minute plans. They also provided a binder of helpful hints, which was a great touch. The beach was a great place to be, and the people were very polite. Our group stayed at this Airbnb for our annual golf trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The house was spacious and clean with plenty of amenities. The pictures don’t do this place justice. The surrounding property is private and allows for outdoor activities. In addition, the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home during our stay. We will definitely be returning!
