Sarah was, by far, the best host we have ever had. I had a lot of questions before we booked and she answered every one of them, was really patient with me and took a lot of time to be sure I had all the info I wanted. The house is really nice. Beds are very comfy. The master bath is big. Sarah thought of EVERYTHING in terms of amenities. I needed a shower cap, and she had one. We needed a first aid kit, and she had one. We needed a light bulb, and she had one. She stocked things you would never think of. Her response time is super fast. We loved the kayaks, deck in the tree and the swings. I can't say enough about how wonderful Sarah was. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

Quick girls trip. Such a cute lake house. It is set back in a little cove - so swimming was not an option, but grabbed the kayaks and paddle boat and headed out to the lake for a swim. So peaceful and relaxing. Also lots of small restaurants close by to grab breakfast or dinner. Nicely decorated and comfy. Paula was quick to respond to my questions and super friendly. Also loved taking an evening walk -lots of friendly families. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wanted a nice quiet getaway.

Had a great stay here as we came to see family and this was a great meeting hub. Loved the woodsy and rustic feel of the place and we saw some deer grazing near the property. The kitchen was well supplied and we even had a few food items to get us started. The place was clean and they also had menus from nearby restaurants.

We were in town for the Barry Roubaix gravel race. location is a short warmup ride to the start line. very tranquil setting right on the Thornapple river. lots of chickens greeted us in the AM....Aaron made us muffins and granola and left farm fresh eggs for us! we didn't get to enjoy all of it but the muffins were delicious! This was my first time staying in a camper....it's cute.

Holly was a great hostess and gave clear pre check in instructions. Before accepting our booking, she even messaged me to confirm the bed situation would would work for us to make sure we knew we would be comfortable. The house was clean, looked like photos, stocked with kitchen things, games, and thoughtful touches for guests. My main recommendation (possible that I missed it in the description, not sure) would pulled be to put the twin trundle bed on the downstairs bedroom, and the other larger bed upstairs. I couldn’t let my small children sleep up there in fear of them falling down the stairs in the night/morning 🥲

Our stay wasn’t long enough! It was a beautiful home with a lot of amenities! My kids loved the paddle boat and paddle boards and the neighbor kids were super friendly! We caught tons of fish and soaked up as much sun as we could! Katherine was a great host and very helpful and responsive with any questions I had!

I love George and Kelly’s off the grid cabin! It is a treasure. It was my fourth year in a row saying there. This year I stayed five nights. It’s very peaceful and quiet! Listening to a rain from the screened in porch was soothing as well. I highly recommend a stay to get rested and recharged by just being there. Their cabin was always clean, tidy, and well maintained. George and Kelly have excellent and responsive communication and are very accommodating. I’m lucky to have been able to stay there again!

The location of this home is exceptional. It has a lot of water frontage and is very private for a lake home. There truly is wonderful swimming and great fishing right off the dock. Town is only a short drive away for groceries or dining out. The inside is very spacious with multiple sitting areas and views of the lake. We enjoyed using the provided kayaks to explore the lake. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.
