Cottage vacation rentals in Barry County

Our second visit! The lake and cottage are so quite and chill, it checked all our boxes for a great weekend. It's close to Hastings for us to do a bike race this weekend. The deck has been updated and a rockstar experience. The cottage is clean with plenty of amenities. It's truly an at home experience and Jason is fab on messages. We added an extra night on this visit since our plans changed. Next time we need to stay for a few weeks, that's for sure! Till next time...

Beautiful home, We only stayed for two days but it was extremely comfortable. The jacuzzi was shut down for the season but we did enjoy the kayaks. The bed in the master bedroom was honestly my favorite part. So comfy! definitely would stay again. Host were friendly and responded promptly to questions.

I booked Bill's home for some of my co-workers. They enjoyed their stay, and their comments that stood out to me was they loved the setting on the lake, and they enjoyed the hot tub. Thanks Bill, I will recommend your home if my friends or co-workers are in the area again.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. BUT… the initial address given was not the address of the house so we have to drive another 30 minutes to get to the house. The house was clean, rustic and ideal for us 3 people and a dog. We enjoyed the amenities especially the billiards and kayaks. Also our dog enjoyed running around the property.

What a gem. We loved the hot tub and beautiful surroundings. My two boys loved the bunk beds for reference they are 4 and 7. Coffee is provided along with cream-that was awesome! Felt right at home even my dog loved it and appreciated the treats they had for dogs. Very well thought out anticipating guests needs. Loved the view-it snowed while we were there and it was awesome being in the hot tub while it did! Host is very responsive and helpful. Thank you for a great stay-we will be back.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time. It was private and peaceful, and the firepit space was bordered by a nice little woodsy area. The firepit was stocked with kindling and wood, so was easy to use. The adjacent circle-drive was a perfect dog-walk with minimal traffic. Kent's place looks nicer in person than what we expected from the photos. We'd be glad to stay there again. Charlie & Nancy

We had a lovely visit to Pine Lake Paradise. Cottage was super cute and had everything we needed. It was close to the public boat launch so we were able to take our small fishing boat to enjoy the lake. Beautiful lake and surroundings.

Nice cottage lake place, remote enough to feel “away” but only 15 min from the interstate and stores. Would recommend!

GREAT HOST! beautiful property! this is definitely a cozy cabin vibe! scenic lake. relax and eat meals on the deck and enjoy nature under a canopy of tall trees! walk to the Cider brewery, they have really nice options, we bought some frozen ribeyes that were phenomenal, cooked them them the next day on the Blackstone BBQ and enjoyed life, my dog had a blast too!!

Hosts were great! Home was superclean! We appreciated the toys available for the children; they were very entertained with them. The hosts even provided warm, fuzzy socks for the kids which was nice with the extra cold days we were having! Would love to stay here again in the future.

This was our second stay here. We're very happy with everything. Melissa is very accommodating and the cottage is very comfortable.

Holly was a great hostess and gave clear pre check in instructions. Before accepting our booking, she even messaged me to confirm the bed situation would would work for us to make sure we knew we would be comfortable. The house was clean, looked like photos, stocked with kitchen things, games, and thoughtful touches for guests. My main recommendation (possible that I missed it in the description, not sure) would pulled be to put the twin trundle bed on the downstairs bedroom, and the other larger bed upstairs. I couldn’t let my small children sleep up there in fear of them falling down the stairs in the night/morning 🥲

This was our 2nd trip to Troy's place in Delton. Just far enough off the beaten path to create a sense of solitude and make it easy to unwind. Looking forward to coming back for a 3rd trip.

Great place!! Clean and pleasant atmosphere. The place is as it is in the pictures!! It’s right on the lake which and wonderfully stocked for activities as well as cooking/living space. We loved it and would love to return!!

Peaceful and quiet location, very clean, lovely views off the back deck. David is very responsive. Others have commented negatively about the lack of a tv on the main level - this is an amenity in my opinion - enjoy the view off the deck not on the TV or enjoy one of the excellent game selections with friends/family ☺️ Cottage is on well water - if this will bother you, bring drinking water. Very reasonably priced. Would 💯 stay here again!

My family and I were after a peaceful lakefront getaway, and Jill's place delivered! We had never visited this area before, but it felt like home from the moment we arrived. The home was beautiful and cozy and the views were stunning. We were seeking a quiet few days on a lake and I couldn't have asked for a more memorable and peaceful stay. We will definitely be back!

The property was cozy and clean. Plenty of amenities. Nice little back yard with a fire pit right on the lake. Very serene. The hot tub was great. We had a family party of 8, plus a dog, and there was enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Would stay again!
