Garret was an exceptional host! He was very helpful during the whole stay and made us feel right at home at El Rancho. The stunning views and a calm atmosphere was amazing, including the many facilities like rooftop terrace, big pool for cooling off, plenty of sunbeds and a barbeque grill. It was also close to mountains for scenic hikes and a via ferrata. Would absolutely recommend!

The house is beautiful and very charming, in a lovely village. The area is very relaxing, with a lovely view from the roof terrace over the mountains. The local people are very friendly and we enjoyed a few evenings in Piki bar which is 2 minutes walk from the house. Floris was really helpful and communicated very well ahead of our trip and whilst we were out there. We would definitely recommend Canar and this house specifically for anyone looking for a relaxing stay away

Frigiliana We selected Camilas house for our one-week stay because of the beautiful surroundings of Frigiliana and we did not regret our choise. We enjoyed the Moresque influenced clean but robust design of the house, the remote sea view as well as the peaceful surrounding nature. A car is definitely a must for accessing this hillside location, but actually it took us less than five minutes to drive to Frigiliana and twenty to Nerja and the coast. The house is spacey with a well equipped kitchen, small dining room, large bedrooms and cozy sittning areas, several outfoor terraces giving opportunity to enjoy the sun or shadow throughout the day. We did not miss the TV at all. Heating elements were provided in every room. We also enjoyed the pool area! We found nice restaurants in nearby Frigiliana and visited also the magnificent Nerja caves and made one day-trip to Alhambra. Camila and Pati (the local host) were always friendly, responsive and easy to communicate with.

Remote escape to Andalusian countryside. The villa was lovely. Quiet, peaceful & idyllic. Situated atop a hill with unobstructed views across hills & plantations with sea in the distance. The villa was clean, comfortable, and with all essentials. Some people may find this villa too isolated, but this is what we wanted (needed!). There is a small supermarket in Benamargosa (10 min drive), and large hypermarket in Vélez-Málaga (30 min). You'll need to travel distance to eat out. Challenging 10 min drive between Benamargosa & the villa: single windy mountain track and last minute on unsealed road - safe but for a confident driver. Take it slow & you'll be fine (the drive to the reservoir is more challenging, & don't turn left at the STOP sign down onto Cala Ermita unless your car is small!). We stayed in March, so chilly evenings indoors (wood fire was cosy), but ideal for warmer months. Only struggle was water pressure/flow in showers. Wilm a very helpful & responsive host. Would return.

Quiet house with sea views

Geweldig mooi huis met een fantastisch uitzicht op zee. Rustige omgeving en het verwarmde zwembad met ligbedden zorgde voor veel plezier bij onze tieners. Ook het paddelveld is regelmatig gebruikt door de aanwezige rackets. Het tennisveld en voetbalveld was ook heel verzorgd en goed bereikbaar. Wel even een stukje lopen naar beneden en terug uiteraard even een klim. De eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het huis ontbreekt aan niets. (bad) handdoeken aanwezig. Eigen vervoer is wel nodig. Top bestemming!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Almuñécar. L'appartement est entièrement rénové avec goût, très bien équipé et parfaitement situé. Le balcon et la vue imprenable sur la mer sont également très appréciables. Je tiens à signaler la réactivité des hôtes qui nous ont trouvé un lit bébé et une chaisse haute pour faciliter notre séjour. Nous savons où séjourner la prochaine fois que nous venons à Almuñécar!

Hermoso departamento en una ubicación ideal para desconectar con la familia y disfrutar de la playa. Nos hospedamos con mi mujer e hija, y fácilmente podría entrar otra familia más allí. El departamento tiene todo lo que necesitas para cocinar y es súper cómodo para largas estadías. La vista desde la terraza es excelente e invita a pasar largas horas allí. Lamentablemente tuvimos serias dificultades con el check in, dado que la cerradura de ingreso había sido cambiada pero la nueva llave no estaba en el key box. Sin embargo, Christian estuvo disponible para resolver este inconveniente rápidamente.

Eine tolle Ferienwohnung die mit allem wichtigem ausgestattet ist. Die aussicht vom Balkon ist traumhaft und der strand ist in 15min zu fuß gut zu erreichen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und haben viele Tipps. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es viele Sehenswurdigkeiten. Tropfsteinhöhlen Schmeterlingsgärten und naturlich Malaga mit seinen vielen Museen. Wir haben einen sehr schönen Urlaub bei euch verbringen können. Danke Ana und Fermín

Super Lage mit schöner Aussicht und Aussichtmöglichkeiten drum herum. Gute Ausstattung an allen wichtigen Geräten und Utensilien zum kochen und Leben. Leider haben wir keine Mülltüten und Zewa gehabt. Diese Dingen vergisst man beim Einkauf 🥲 Unterkunft insgesamt war sehr sauber und gut durchlüftet. Mücken können aber rein kommen. Empfehlenswert.

Amazing views the best we’ve ever experienced from any apartment… !! Really helpful host, Charis is responsive and gave us a great welcome - We spent a month at the apartment, it is well equipped.. with wonderful outdoor furniture - The weather was superb with an morning sunrise and the warm hot sun lighting up the sea scape on the balcony until 2.30pm. We then dropped down to the best sandy beach in La herradura which is just below the apartment, the sea was warm enough to swim in February (like a summers day in the UK) … it was fantastic !!

Just got back from a 10 night stay at this fabulous villa. Very well equipped for self- catering. Air conditioning and wifi access very good. Views of the mountains at the front of the property and views of the sea from the back. Large private garden area. Within a 5 min walk of two large pools. Also close to Cave Bar and restaurant. The beach and Nerja town are a 20 min walk downhill and a 30 min walk back up the hill. However there is a very reliable bus service every hour for 1 euro each way. There are also two large supermarkets within a 10 min walk. Mercadona was our favourite. Debby was very responsive to my messages. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely visit again x

We had a fabulous stay in Nerja. The home was an exceptionally high standard, it had absolutely everything we needed, was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Communication was excellent and the host took extra care and attention following a huge storm in the area. The property was of a very high standard with lovely furniture and great attention to detail, well stocked kitchen and lots of space for a family of 9. We would absolutely visit again.

Great stay for 10 guests visiting a wedding in the area. Check in and check out no issue and Chris was very helpful and flexible. The house had everything we needed, the only shame was that we were not in there long enough to make use of the outdoor terraces, including hammocks and hot tub! Great location right next to the beach. Almunecar town is also easily reachable with a short 5 minute drive or a 30 minute stroll along the front and there’s plenty of lively bars and restaurants. The house also has a garage if you are hiring a car for your stay.

la casa de Sara está muy bien en general.. para repetir. a favor.. casa grande para familias.. con muchas comodidades, 3 baños completos, muchas mesas, terrazas, una piscina super grande y limpia y cuidada, sofás muy cómodos, cocina equipada completamente en contra.. pilla un poco lejos del centro y playa. el aire en la planta de arriba no fue muy eficaz.. el colchón de la cama nido era muy fino. el trato tanto con Sara excelente , le pedi información y contesto enseguida , cualquier cosa, poto incluido jejeje muy bien Sara. y Ángela también muy bien en general se puede ir perfectamente a casa de Sara , es un buen Airbnb.
