From the moment we walked in, we knew this place was something special. It has that rare, magical feeling where everything just feels right. The space was stunning—beautifully kept, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly peaceful. But the real showstopper? The views. Absolutely spectacular in every direction. We spent hours just soaking it all in. The pool was perfect—clean, refreshing, and surrounded by scenery that made it feel like our own private paradise. Every moment here felt relaxing and memorable. What really made the stay extra special was Paulo and his wonderful family. They were warm, welcoming, and always available if we had questions. They also gave us amazing local recommendations, especially for restaurants—we had some of our best meals thanks to their tips! Dajas Douro Valley was perhaps more beautiful than the photos! It was the perfect place to relax between adventures in Lisbon and Porto. We especially loved spending time by the pool by day and cozying up with a bottle of wine by the fire pit by night. Alexandra and Tatiana were very welcoming. A few tips for future guests: The property is nestled in the hillside which means it is at least 20 minutes from towns/restaurants. We rented a car which was helpful for exploring nearby areas, but be prepared for many narrow, steep and winding roads! We found that Waze gave better directions (less rustic) than Google maps. We also wished we had stopped at a grocery store to stock up on some food for our villa before arriving. I also recommend booking reservations at local wineries as we didn’t have much luck just showing up (midweek at least). My husband and I would absolutely stay here again!

This was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The scenery was stunning, and the setting felt wonderfully secluded yet still just 15 minutes from the nearest supermarket (via a charming, winding road). The house was very comfortable and included a lovely pool — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty around. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

The stadium was great, I would just recommend that they explain the location better, since the directions given did not take us to the house, we had to consult Booking. They could also have specified where the firewood and charcoal were. Kind Regards

Great stay at this property. The area is beautiful, the place is peaceful we were able to enjoy a good barbecue and the pool with a great view 🤩 Clean and well-equipped accommodation, good bedding. Responsive host, we had good recommendations for restaurants and visit! We'll be back with pleasure next year for the WRC Rally of Portugal

This place was amazing, way bigger than it looks in the photos, with everything we needed and incredible views. The host was super helpful and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I get the chance!

We so enjoyed our stay! The house is amazing. Historic and cozy charm with modern amenities. We had so much fun with the soccer field, the pool, the pool table, hammock, and exploring the grounds. We picked lemons off the tree and made lemonade and a lemon dessert! We soo enjoyed meals at the big outdoor tables- wonderful to accommodate our large group of 7. The daily delivery of fresh bread is a treat!! We enjoyed walking into town and visiting the butcher, bakery, fish market and such. It’s a 25-minute walk through lovely hills, though there is not a sidewalk and the traffic was difficult to navigate at times, but we also drove to town. Sitting outside with morning coffee overlooking the valley was one of my favorite parts! My daughter and fiancé stayed in the detached cottage and found it to be so cozy and comfortable. Lastly, Isabel was very accommodating with some last minute changes, which I really appreciated. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The house is as it appears in the photos. It's very nice. It offers a setting in nature and with total tranquility to spend a few days of total rest and reading. It is also close to Braga and Guimaraes if you want to go on excursions. There is a restaurant very close by that you can walk to and eat well. Concensao is super friendly and very nice, always attentive if you need anything. Although she lives upstairs, it is a totally private space.

This is a very special place with beauty everywhere you look including the architecture of the house utilising the natural materials of the region to blend into the landscape. Francisca cooked us a delicious three course meal including wine, delivered on a tray on our first night what a treat ! On Francisca’s recommendation we had a very authentic wine and food tour with Bambuti Tours we were overwhelmed with Portugal hospitality for the day and Viewed some amazing scenery, a great way to explore the valley. Casa Do Largo is situated in some of the most beautiful scenery in the valley and we enjoyed a whole day there , with a walk to the beautiful river first then a day enjoying the pool and the most comfortable home. This has been our favourite spot in Portugal and we would highly recommended you book it for at least 3 nights.

We had such a glorious stay, we cannot recommend it enough. Carolina was super responsive and accommodating, gave us amazing recommendations of restaurants and kindly booked a couple of reservations for us. Everything is within walking distance throughout the city. The apartment is surrounded with beautiful views. The plunge pool was a lovely bonus to cool down in the late afternoon, not overlooked at all. Thank you again x

Probably the best hostess on Airbnb! Super friendly and loving, very helpful. We needed a reliable taxi number and Cidalia arranged us, brought us wonderful figs and made us super comfortable. Extremely immaculate House, we will return for sure. I advise a lot for those in need of a getaway from the city and the confusion. Beautiful landscapes and friendly villagers. We feel at home! Mario and Cila’s home was one of the most beautiful I have stayed out. The house was an old olive oil mill, converted into a modern paradise. They thoughtfully incorporated the property’s history into the renovation. The home is beautiful but the grounds are next level! There is a running stream running along side and under the house with lush grounds and a wonderful pool. There is also a walking path to a little park with a waterfall! Super peaceful property. If you are looking for a getaway, look no further! Mario and Cila are super kind, gracious hosts! They welcomed us themselves and proactively provided tips and recommendations. Super appreciative of their hospitality.

We had a fabulous stay at Josés property. The space was beautifully designed, it had a very zen feel. We felt so relaxed there. It was a perfect spot for visiting Guimarães and Jose was very thorough when we met him, telling us all about his property and the local area. Would highly recommend and would have loved to have stayed longer

We loved our stay at the Medieval Mill! It was the perfect amount of rustic while still being comfortable and clean. There were plenty of towels and extra bedding and the kitchen was perfectly equipped. The hosts were extremely responsive to any questions we had! We did not have a car and got by easily by using the bus and Uber. The road noise did not bother us at all. In fact, we had the pleasure of listening to the sounds of a healthy river and fell asleep to the sound of frogs. :)

Truly wonderful! The setting is stunning and the house is absolutely perfect. So beautiful, well-appointed, clean and peaceful. It was amazing, and we are already hoping to plan a trip back to this perfect pink house. Also, the house is in a great location. It’s very private but also easy to get to the grocery stores and restaurants in town of Regua, which is about a 15 minute drive away.

The view here is incomparable! The views over the Duoro River are amazing. It’s so close to wineries and winery tours too. There’s a supermarket close by with all you’ll need. It was hot the day we arrived and the pool overlooking the valley was pristine and oh so refreshing! Our host did a great job of communicating and made us feel right at home. I could have stayed here a lot longer!

Quiet location (which was what we wanted), excellent house, views, spacious (inside and outside/garden), lots of extras/gifts from the host, who was impeccable. I recommend it and we'll possibly return with warmer temperatures.

Hands down the best Airbnb we have stayed at! The setting was idyllic - every window looked out over vineyards and fields, the house was immaculate, - comfortable and well-equipped, and the pool was perfect. We are already planning to go back as there is still so much more to explore in the area. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, providing everything we needed for a seamless stay. I couldn’t recommend it more.

We had wonderful days. Interior of the spaces are a bit dated, but everything is clean. Pool and views really beautiful. The pool is shared with Farmhouse 2 but is fine to do. In the house also more than enough space, large kitchen. Communication with Hugo was fast and easy.

Phenomenal! Great vibe with cool touches throughout the entire home. Everything you need in cookware available to whip up your meals. We ate outside in the little private nook just off the kitchen surrounded by succulents and staghorn ferns listening to the local church bells. Nothing better than that. Great little town with so many restaurants and cafès plus local grocery stores and bakeries nearby and also plenty of cool paths to hike nearby! Highly recommended!!!

There were six of us in the house for a week and we had a fantastic time! Unfortunately, it was rather cold outside and only rained almost throughout, so we used the great outdoor area with pool very little. But even in the rain you can relax there superbly: inside by the fireplace on the couch, with board games at the large dining table, at the billiards or darts. Outside, the covered area by the stone oven and barbecue area even in the rain offers a cozy place, we grilled there, baked pizza and did sports together. The view from the pool and the stone table upstairs is at least as beautiful as in the photos, fantastic! The beds are super comfortable, we slept great. Dogs bark next door, but we quickly got used to it. The location is already very far from the beach and shopping, but no problem with car. César was an excellent host, even welcomed us at night and was always available and super nice!

Everything about Quinta da Boavista is just 10/10 perfect! It's quite and peacfull but still, very accesable. Ella and Maria are so proactive and helpful, and allways with a smile and good vibe. The houses, pool and, well.. the whole property are all very well planned and executed. We will defenitely come back here. Highly recomended! Thank you for everything
