We had an absolutely fabulous time at the Milking Parlour ❤️ The place was gorgeous, perfect for a couples getaway. We were blessed with brilliant weather, and the positioning of the garden meant we got the best of the sun. Sitting outside with breakfast in the mornings was a proper treat. The hot tub was also a super nice addition; once we got it properly going, we stayed in it from sunset until the night, and were able to spot some constellations as we were far enough away from the light pollution of central Ipswich :) The Milking Parlour itself is super lovely, very airy and fresh design, bright throughout the day, helpful little gadgets around, always a good temp due to underfloor heating. The hosts Marion and Kevin were really friendly, and Charlie was very helpful. We would’ve never left, had we been given the choice, so we will hopefully be back soon instead 🙏

We loved visiting Harriet’s adorable cottage. It was even more lovely than the pictures and was so cosy and we felt at home immediately. She also provided us with a cake and juices/teas/coffee on arrival which was incredibly kind. Would absolutely stay again if we come back to the area!

Lovely, comfortable place to stay in the heart of Suffolk. Nice to meet Helen and felt welcomed. Plenty of room and nice to have a bathroom with a bath! Everything we needed was there, and the location was peaceful and yet handy for the town of Ipswich and beyond.

It felt like the perfect getaway for a couple, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel instantly at home. Every detail in the property was of a high standard, from the furnishings to the amenities. It’s also incredibly safe and peaceful, making it easy to relax and unwind. Anne was the perfect host—welcoming, attentive, and full of helpful tips to make our stay even better. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a romantic escape or simply a high-quality, comfortable stay.
