4 night stay at Joys place and loved every minute. Lambs in the rear field, great gardens, log burner and pub 100 meters away !!! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

An idyllic place to stay and thoughtful, friendly hosts. Peaceful, cosy and comfortable, surrounded by birdsong and starlight. Everything I needed for a few days on my own - really lovely to have firewood and breakfast provisions included. Lots of suggestions, maps etc in the hut for local walks and outings. Thank you very much, Ben and Amanda, for creating such a great place to stay.

Clare was a very friendly and attentive host, asking us if we needed more towels, and basic bits. We had a welcome package of fresh bred, butter and milk and some lovely orange juice. The kitchen doesn’t have an oven, but with the space they have, they have fitted everything in perfectly, and still able to cook most things on the hob and in the microwave. We went to Plumpton races while we stayed here, it’s a great event and would highly recommend planning your stay with a day at the races!
