House vacation rentals in Banff

A beautiful, cosy, completely private cottage - even better than the pictures show. The log fire was a highlight for me. Alexander communicated clearly and quickly and was an excellent host.

Once again I have had a lovely relaxing stay at the cottage and it’s a perfect base for work as well as for a holiday. I arrived late from work and it was so peaceful with a very comfortable bed. Thank you for being such a good host too. Many thanks, Matilda and brown dog

Lovely homely cottage with everything we needed. Dog friendly but couldn’t tell dogs have stayed previously. Great open fire and the best shower we’ve ever used!

Sheila's place had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. It was easy to find, had good parking spaces and was spotlessly clean. The house was within walking distance to the centre of Elgin. The kitchen was well equipped and stored cupboard ingredients were available. Beds were comfortable and there was no noise to be heard from outside. The decking at the back of the house was handy to sit out at night and have a wee drink. Sheila popped in to say hello which was a nice touch. All in all a fab place to stay and I would highly recommend it.

Heather was an excellent host met us on arrival and showed us round house and explained clearly where everything was. Banff is a beautiful location with lots to do in the surrounding area and Heather's home was beautiful and comfortable to relax in and felt very much like home from home - would highly recommend

Colin was a fantastic host very responsive and helpful we have booked the property long term for our contractors since the start of the year, the property was exactly as pictured and exceeded our expectations every time, our needs where catered to on every visit the property is a good size and completely spotless we have since used Dwelcome homes to book other properties in the area and further afield and will be using in the future. We had a great time at the cottage. The kids loved being right on a farm and the hosts were kind enough to let them have a look around and get involved. Really easy to communicate with and was extremely handy to learn of the sweet treats you could order especially when I needed to organise a cake for my birthday (which was beautiful and very tasty). The cottage was accurately described in the amenities and photos. Very peaceful place to sit outside in the sunshine and a great base to explore Aberdeenshire. The kids loved Newburgh beach and Balmedie was quick drive for restaurant and takeaway. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Really lovely place to spend some time with the family - ground floor access was perfect for the less mobile members of our party and the underfloor heating was great! So quiet and away from it all and great for the dogs as well - plenty of enclosed space for them to run about and not far from some lovely country walks. A few minor niggles with the property but nothing to detract from the scale of the place. We were a party of 7 and it could easily sleep 10.

Jonquil and Simon were amazing hosts. We had a great time in Aberdeenshire and felt extremely fortunate to be welcomed to their home. The surrounding hills are beautiful and so peaceful, we didn't want to leave. The house was perfect for our family get-together. We all felt right at home and enjoyed their garden space as much as the inside. We couldn't have asked for a more lovely place and more welcoming hosts. We would return in a heartbeat and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Jonquil and Simon for a weekend break we'll never forget! Ben and Emma

Malcolm & Carrie were very attentive throughout our stay, and had great communication from the start. The house was exactly as described, with plenty of bedding / towels abs amenities. Everything was clearly marked abs explained from from the heating to the bins. We even had a few complimentary treats which were a lovely thought. We would thoroughly recommend Malcolm and Carrie, and would hope to visit again! Thank you! 😀

This was a perfect spot for us to explore the area. The house is very well equipped, quiet, full of character and amazing views. Heidi provided lots of useful information prior to arriving, which helped us to plan our trips and we will certainly look to return in the future.

Such a lovely house. Clean, airy and spacious! It had all the electricals you need ie.. washing machine tumble dryer etc, although we only used the kettle as we ate out all the time we were there. Was perfectly situated for us as who we were visiting was literally around the corner. Will definitely be coming back in the future. Thankyou so much Anne 🙂

We couldn’t have wished for a better welcome to Scotland! Amazing place, well equipped, cozy, really comfortable, homey and with incredible views. An extra bonus was the herd of deer just outside the kitchen window. We felt really welcome the whole time, communication was flawless and fast, and it felt like being at home from the moment we walked in. Really comfy beds too! Definitely will remain in your memories and our hearts forever.
