Monthly Rentals in Balrath

A wonderful place in the countryside. Unfortunately due to our itinerary and some inclement weather we were unable to go walking but it's ideally situated if that's something you'd like to do. Paula was very responsive when we needed anything. Whilst the location is very peaceful and quiet, access to main roads is very close by so as long as you have transport it's a great place for daily excursions. Would definitely recommend.

Crow’s Hermitage, was exactly as described!; however, Colm (the host) went above and beyond to make us feel at home. When we arrived (late) the wood burning stove was already warming up the place for us, the music was playing some relaxing tunes and there was a small bread waiting on the breakfast table for us. Colm, was very accommodating with our late arrival. While he wanted to meet us upon arriving he still talked us through everything over the phone to be sure we were settled for our first night. Throughout our stay, we really felt at home! Thank you Colm for having us and we can’t wait to visit again!!

We found this place to be a good example of irish hospitality. Darina was welcoming, warm, generous with baked goods and snacks and checking in on us if temperature was okay for us. As the nights get colder at this time of year, we really appreciated the heated blankets in bed. For our short stay & visit to a nearby festival and sights this place was ideal.

Whatever excellent review you read, fails to fully describe the quality, charm and beauty of Connell’s Barn. Karla, went through heroic efforts to restore these special landmarks in the Duleek community. (Barn & House). Duleek is a bit of a pass through town, for commuters to Dublin. Hence, there is busy traffic - but it calms right down at night. Also, the barn is so well constructed, you don’t really hear the traffic. Karla has provided so much information about the restoration as well as places in the community to visit and dine. The Tribe has been our favorite since it opened. Somehow, we didn’t realize we could walk there when we made the booking. We feel it is the best AirBnB we’ve ever rented. I can’t say enough about how honored we were to be Karla’s guests.
