Monthly Rentals in Ballynew

Our stay in Jackie's cottage was wonderful, the cottage itself is beautiful and homely. Jackie is a wonderful host and went above and beyond during our short stay, getting out some sun chairs for us when the sun appeared out! We hope to visit again soon and thank you again for the wonderful stay we had in Mayo!

We had a fantastic time on our break. The setting was lovely and Christelle and the girls were extremely friendly. Ours kids had great company for the two days.

The place is lovely, looking out onto trees and greenery with mountains in the background. The place had everything I needed for a 2 week stay, and the walks around the local area are beautiful. The cabin is quite close to the road which is busy, and so there is quite a bit of road noise which drowns out the sound of the babbling brook so idealically murmuring next to the cabin. Bathroom is small but totally functional. What I thought was an oven in the photos was a microwave but the kitchen is functional. Had a spacious feeling inside, the host and her sister are beautiful and generous. I was able to do my laundry at the Old Rectory. A beautiful and much enjoyed time. The bus to Westport is easy to catch so its simple to get around without a car. Recommend this cute little cabin

We expected to find a warm, welcoming farm stay experience but did not expect to find Barbara! One in a million host who goes above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. Letting the big and little kids feed the lambs, alpacas and donkey was great fun but the birthday cake she baked for a special birthday in our group was something else… thank you Barbara for making our time in Co Mayo unforgettable!!
