Monthly Rentals in Ballangen Municipality

We rented Unni's beautiful house for a girls trip. Unni made everyone feel very welcome. Her house is very nicely decorated throughout with a personal style from the 50s and 60s. The kitchen felt very homey, and we cooked both breakfast and dinner there, and enjoyed amazing views. The house is located in Skjellesvik which is a bay surrounded by beautiful mountains, next to a historical building and a pier. It was possible to swim from the pier, and the local beach. The hiking in this area is amazing, especially the short trip up to Kjerna which has spectacular views. Parking is easy, and the whole place is so peaceful. We were lucky enough to catch the northern lights early in September. Will definitely return!

We discovered this beautiful cottage on our tour of Norway. We were very pleased with the amenities, cleanliness and location. Ernst has left clear instructions and information for the guests, so that everyone can find their way around. The view from the house, as well as from the terrace, is indescribably wonderful. At breakfast, we could watch the minke whales from the window. The location was perfect for a trip to the Lofoten Islands. The approach from the main road to the cottage was somewhat difficult with our normal car. The path was slippery (due to the rain on the sandy ground) and very uneven. But quite feasible. You should shop beforehand, the nearest supermarket is not right around the corner. But this was not an issue either. We would recommend this cabin to anyone wishing to spend beautiful days in Norway. We hope to come back sometime.

Beautiful place isolated from other people, perfect for relaxation in nature. Exceptionally equiped kitchen. Blinds definitely come to use during the summer! Over all very cosy cabin with beautiful vintage decorations in the middle od nature. We had a very good experience.

My family and I stayed here for only one night but we wished we could stay longer. The house is so pretty, you feel right at home as you walk in. The kitchen is fully equipped, the living room is very spacious and also beds are very comfortable. The house is surrounded by nature, it’s very peaceful and relaxing. Merete is also a very nice person, I really recommend this place and suggest if you have more time to spend at least two nights to enjoy it more!
