Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Balboa Peninsula, Newport Beach

Great place, great location amazing view! Lots of amenities and a well stocked kitchen. A few small things to note: The description stated that it slept 7 however it was confusing where the additional sleeping would be? The sofa was not a pullout and we recall seeing an air mattress in the master closet, but we weren’t sure where that would fit. Luckily, there were only five of us so it was fine, but for the future, we would not be able to invite the rest of the family to join us. The only other small problem was that there was no plug in the master bathroom by the vanity and the hairdryer cord was not long enough to stretch from the outlet in the toilet/shower area to the mirror. Finally, we downsized our minivan to a small SUV in order to fit in the small garage. It was a tight drive down but worked better for the parking which was welcome because it was a crowded holiday weekend. Overall, a great stay we will come back.

Great location! Very close to beach and restaurants. We have two small kids and this worked perfectly for us. It’s hard to find a good place that has a separate bathroom for the other bedroom. It was a great trip for us and a lot is due to this amazing find. Thank you Lisa!

Thank you Savannah for a lovely stay. We were in the area for a funeral so it was nice to walk around Balboa Island & Peninsula in our free time, including an hour or two on the beach. Your place was clean, efficient, and comfortable. You had all the amenities we needed. Thank you for your timely communications, you made it easy for us to be there.

We celebrated our son's birthday at this location and it was a blast. So close to all the restaurants and bars and a five minute walk to the sand! We love Newport Beach and you cannot beat this location. We will hopefully visit again soon!

Amazing stay! So close to the park and such a great spot for visiting disney with kids. Our kids loved the toys, bunk beds, playground right outside and pool! Sara was so nice to give us early check in for a small fee.

Penelope’s home was exactly what we hoped for - clean, easily accessible, close to shopping and activities, plenty of parking space and comfortable. We never needed to reach out for assistance as everything was listed clearly and comprehensively both in the listing and in the house manual. I could not recommend this home and Penelope as a host more - I hope to return in the future!

Overall, I had a good stay. I like the security of the building, it’s also centrally located. The Garage was definitely a plus because parking in Long Beach can be very difficult. It was big enough to fit my Tesla model X so it was a decent size. The space looks like the photos. I had a little trouble with the cable, but I was able to watch Netflix so it worked out. I just wish it was pet friendly.

We loved our stay at Casita Clemente! Barbara provided us with many snacks and recommendations for our short time, and the Airbnb was well stocked with everything we needed (including coffee). Her instructions are detailed and clear as well. As an added bonus, the beach and pier truly are a 5 minute walk away! Just a note that those who have allergies to dust should bring your own fans for sleeping at night! We had planned to use the many fans Barbara provided but couldn’t because they were a bit dusty. But if that’s not a problem for you, you should be good!

Very clean, cute decor, comfortable and spacious (for our family of 5people), has a lot of ample amenities even for kids! Clubhouse, pool & jacuzzi access. Securities at the gate were friendly and the Neighbors mostly seem don't mind having Air BnB guests in a gated community. Walking to Waldorf hotel took about 10m, beach about 20m. But the restaurants and stores were in short driving distance. We really enjoyed this spot. Thank you!

My 85 year old mom and I had a great time. The location was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants. The accommodations were everything that we needed. Perfect little beach cottage.

Joseph and Lisa were very responsive and kind! Their home accurately represented the photos and listing. We really enjoyed the outdoor balcony for the sunset. The bed was very comfortable and the amenities were in pristine condition. My friends and I enjoyed our stay and the complimentary welcome snacks and coffee machine. We will be back! :)

Jade’s home was beautiful! My family and I enjoyed every minute :) it was exactly as described and included the very best amenities! Plenty of towels and things needed for our trip! It was fully stocked and exceeded our expectations! We would definitely stay here again! Jade was very responsive, friendly and accommodating! We came for a 2 day Disneyland trip and it was the perfect location, not too far from the park! Highly recommend :)

We had a wonderful stay here! The hosts were warm, friendly, and easy to chat with, which made us feel right at home. The place itself was charming and well-kept, with the highlight being our own private pool and jacuzzi – such a treat! The ambience is fantastic, with a serene countryside design that blends beautifully with nature. A gentle breeze flows through the property, and we even spotted some small animals from time to time, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. We actually ended up changing our travel plans just to spend more time here – that’s how much we enjoyed it. If you’re looking for a peaceful, rejuvenating getaway, this place is perfect. Highly recommended!

Really awesome host and amazing place! the drive way & garage fits 3 cars. our party had more than that for our bachlorette and were able to find street parking. Be careful with the street parking though: there were some trees that got sticky sap all over the cars and pollen/leaves clung to it.

Great and clean home! Little quirks about the stay here and there, but that’ll be every place. 5 stars!!

All three bedrooms were clean and comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen, but it seemed well stocked with dishes and silverware. There was a faint aroma in the home as if perhaps the previous guests cooked something. Other than that, Jennie’s space suited us very well!

We booked Susan's home for my girls birthday and her friends. They had an absolutely wonderful time! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The home itself is stunning, with amazing views and a peaceful atmosphere. Susan was always responsive, and accommodating! The location overlooking the ocean was perfect!
