Family-friendly vacation rentals in Balboa Peninsula, Newport Beach

Great house in an established neighborhood close to Disneyland. There were 5 adults and 3 children staying at the house and it was very comfortable! We only had breakfast at the house and spent our days at Disneyland so can't comment on the barbecue or hottub since we didn't get to enjoy the outside area. Would highly recommend staying here if you are going to Disneyland; it's in great proximity to the parks. John and Candy were very responsive when we contacted them regarding an issue with one of the showers.

We are a very private family and this stay was perfect! I work a very busy corporate job so when we take vacation I always appreciate the opportunity to have a peaceful place to stay! I cannot thank you enough for the hospitality. I will definitely save this as a place to visit again!

This location was perfect for our spring break trip to Disney. The house was super clean, neighborhood was charming and the space offered everything you could need. I highly recommend this place.

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. The home was very accommodating for our kids and conveniently located near Disney and shopping in a quite neighborhood. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area on a short-term vacation. Many thanks to the host also for great and timely communication.

Irma’s place was perfect for our family of 8. Kitchen was well stocked for making our own meals, beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. Amazing backyard! Would highly recommend!

We loved our stay here! Ryan and Rosie are superb hosts. They were attentive, quick to respond, very friendly, and made us feel very welcome. Everything we needed was right there, including plenty of towels for the pool/beach, cooking spices, oils, sugar, etc, a well equipped kitchen, very clear instructions for the amenities, and so much more. You can tell how much care and thought was put into this place! We loved the beautiful pool and hot tub, and the waterfall and fountain water effects on the pool were so impressive and added to the peaceful ambiance. The fire pit and patio was beautiful, with a huge amount of outdoor cooking space. The location was close to many great restaurants, stores, and of course, beaches. It’s located in a beautiful, friendly, safe, neighborhood. They even had a safe parking spot in the driveway for our car. We were so impressed with Ryan and Rosie as hosts and in their beautiful AirBNB, we will be excited to stay again next time we’re in the area!

This place was great! Private garage, large living room, comfy beds and outdoor balcony/patio - what more could you ask for! Overall our stay was great. David was very responsive and friendly. I ran into a WiFi issue since I work from home and David was quick to help! Location is walkable to local coffee shops and restaurants. Can’t beat the location for sure! Will definitely recommend!

We had to evacuate our home in LA due to the wildfires. Michelle was quick to answer and very kind. Check in was so easy! We felt comfortable and safe.

Every thing was good and perfect. We enjoyed and sure we came back again because we had best time there.

An absolutely beautiful home in a fantastic location. We stayed a week with our family of four at Kate's AirBnB. It was walkable to a lagoon beach, a playground, and restaurants. Parking was very easy. There were always plenty of spots on the street for grandpa and grandma to park. Additionally, Kate's home had a garage which made it easy to load/unload the kiddos. On top of that, Kate made it really easy to check-in and out. It was probably the most seamless transition into/out of a house we've had on the app!

Dori’s Airbnb was immaculate and well appointed. The furniture was very comfortable and the bathroom has everything you will need for your stay. Dori was very friendly and quick to respond with any questions we had. The neighborhood was quiet and close to many amenities. I would highly recommend a stay here!!

Great little house close in Dana Point. Super easy to find and access. Was nice having a driveway to park the car. The bedrooms were really nice with comfy beds and soft linens. Short drive to the beach with lots of great restaurants nearby. The kitchen is just ok (a little dated), but didn't cook so not a big deal.

This home is in such a cute neighborhood. it's an older home that has been fixed up and is very charming. We chose not to pay for the pool to be heated, because we were just staying for a few nights and planned to spend most of our time in disneyland...as a result the pool was cold! It was February, so that is not a complaint, our son got out as quick as he got in it. The beds were firm, and everything was very clean. The showers had good water pressure and the plumbing all worked as it should. The driveway was plenty big to park two of our cars, it could have fit a third car if needed. The kitchen had good pans to cook our breakfast, and also was very clean. We did a test walk over to the parks when we first checked in, just to make sure we wouldn't get lost early the next day. It is exactly 1.5 miles to the entrance of either Disneyland or California Adventure. Great place to stay, I would book again next time we're going to Disneyland. Thank you Susy!

Beautiful place, quiet and relaxed. Great conditions for children. No hazards, and safety precautions throughout the property. Great for big families !

The place is nice so I gave it a 5 It does need 6 wash cloths and 6 hand towels to go with the 6 bath towels that were there. The kitchen needs potholders and dish towels!!! Making a pizza was almost impossible to remove fy the oven.

The house and yard are beautiful. The kids loved playing in the pool even though it was chilly. It was a wonderful experience and would love to stay there again!!!

We had a great stay at Johnel’s. Her home is very spacious, and perfect for our group of 6 adults. The 3 bathrooms were great. The house had everything we needed. Even in March we were able to enjoy sitting outside by the pool. We took several walks in the neighborhood- great exercise since hilly. The views were beautiful. Kenneth Hahn park was lovely too. Glad we had a driveway to park in. Lots of people park on the street. I would definitely recommend her home.
