A lovely older home, newly renovated with up-to-date modern style and amenities. Lovely gathering spaces in living, dining, kitchen and two outdoor eating spaces. Bedrooms had room darkening shades which are important in June. Great location for tourists visiting Oslo, short distance to bus and tram systems that can take you most wherever you want to go. A great variety of restaurants in the area. Our group of adults was in town for a family wedding and some sight-seeing, so we never cooked in the kitchen and instead we ate lunch and dinner out and about every day. This home is also well suited to families with kids. Christian, our host, was very nice, helpful and responsive to our questions.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Julie and Christian’s home for 2 weeks. The hosts were very gracious and responsive, providing us with recommendations and always available when we had questions. The house has ample windows with gorgeous natural light. My two kids, 2 and 5 years old, loved the playroom and trampoline, as well as their lush garden. The location on Bygdøy can’t be beat; a stones throw away from trails to take you to the different beaches, the grocery store is very close, as well as the bus stop to take you to the city. And, if you decide to go for a walk at dusk, you might be fortunate enough to cross paths with baby deer or a fox. We’d stay again in a heartbeat. It felt like a home away from home in the best way.

This place is stunning! Arguably better than the images show. Stian and Ingunn’s place is beautiful, homely and a lovely space. Accessible tram into Oslo and definitely gave the group a great stay in the city.

Central location for a stay in Oslo, without the noise of downtown. Public transportation within a short walk. The home itself was comfortable and roomy. We had our family of 7 and it had enough small areas to have some alone time, balanced with larger gathering spaces. The open concept, with doors opening up to a lovely backyard and a sitting areas both inside and out, made for relaxing meals and evenings. Our host was proactive in her tips and suggestions, and responded quickly when we had questions. She was very welcoming and helped us feel at welcome in her home. This is indeed a sweet AirB&B.

We were with seven friends for five days with Jonas and his family. In particular, we would like to highlight the location and the great views. If you want some peace and quiet but still want to see something of Oslo, it is just perfect. Go swimming in the morning, and then take the ferry 20 minutes directly to the center of Oslo. We had a lovely stay at this stunningly beautiful home. It feels lived in but in a very good way. The kitchen is spectacular and the decorations are lovely. We also loved the neighborhood – we could walk everywhere from this home and yet we felt like we were in a quiet and secluded place with the park across the street.

John was very helpful, flexible and willing. We will be more than happy to come back.

Nice place, quiet surroundings. The whole house stood up to expectations. Cheerful hosts who answered our questions and helped us with tips on local attractions.

Great place for a family. It was close enough that we could easily get to the city, but in the evenings we were able to relax at the house and there was plenty of things to entertain the kids. The pool and back yard were a great addition after dragging the kids around all day to see things they too were able to unwind as the adults enjoyed the patio and conversation. Great recommendations from the host and super helpful as our flight was delayed and we had to check in 6 hours later than planned, but check in was super easy.

Really good and good hosts, to recommend

This home has a perfect location for exploring Oslo. It is well equipped with everything you need for cooking, and has toys for the kids to play with. It has fun decor and style and comfortable beds. Lots of space for our whole family. We didn’t end up using the pool, as it takes some effort to get the cover off and back on. We loved our stay here!
