Villa vacation rentals in Akershus

After a friendly welcome by the host with recommendations for excursions, we had wonderful and varied days in Norway. Within ten minutes walking distance there is a small lake nearby that invites you to relax and swim. Also beautiful beaches on the fjord are not far away. Oslo can be reached in a short time by car or train (we did not try) - there we enthusiastically visited the Technology Museum, the Fram Museum and the Norwegian Folk Museum and enjoyed the view and the zip line from the Holmenkollen Schanze. Other excursions to Gaustatoppen and Sweden were also very exciting. On quieter days, the children (8, 10 and 12) had a lot of fun with the toys we were allowed to use at Jostein. We (two adults and two children of 12 and 7) had great days in the great house of Mirko. Everything was as described in the listing and worked perfectly for us. The house was so nicely decorated and had everything we needed to have good days there. It was easy to walk the small walk down to the tram stop to get to the city centre and lovely to retreat to the peaceful area after days of much program. The kids were a great time with a trampoline in the garden and PlayStation inside, and we adults had coffee on the rooftop. We would love to come again!

We had great time staying at the house. Four bedrooms can live at least 6 persons and the kitchen is perfect. Ingrid is very passion, nice and enthusiasm. She printed out the notice and details of how to use the appliances in the house, it's very clear, easy understand. And we supposed to clean up the house at the last night before leaving, but she asked if we need helps when she passed through, then she cleaned the all the tableware that we used, it's quite touching. And the most happy is, we saw the northern lights just outside the balcony. It's amazing. Thanks to the Aurora apps which Ingrid recommended, or I don't know the right time to see the northern lights. Thanks Ingrid. We really enjoy the stayed at your house and had a wonderful time there. We had a lovely stay. The house has a modern look, the interior is beautiful, and it’s spacious yet has a cozy feel to it. The location was perfect for us as most attractions in Oslo are about a 15 min drive but also accessible by foot, and public transit. Erik and his family were fast to respond if we had any questions and the house is well equipped. The yard has a nice patio and perfect to relax in. Thank you for giving us the pleasure to stay in your lovely home!

Jonas is a welcoming and tidy host who is easy to communicate with. The house we rented was completely according to the expectations we had. Cozy location, central but private and the house itself is very comfortable to stay in. Great with a garden you can go out in, and bring a very good cup of coffee from the coffee machine. Great stay!

A cosy and beautiful home located close to train station and buses with easy access to the centre. Oliver was very responsive and was very quick to respond to our needs. We asked about heating for one of the rooms and he immediately provided us with a portable heater and also sent someone immediately to fix the clogged shower. We highly recommend this home.

Beautiful home. 2 minute walk to a small beach. Neighborhood setting - very quiet and relaxing. 15 min from downtown Oslo. Great for large parties (we had 11 adults). Excellent hostess. Loved our stay. Would highly recommend.

A lovely older home, newly renovated with up-to-date modern style and amenities. Lovely gathering spaces in living, dining, kitchen and two outdoor eating spaces. Bedrooms had room darkening shades which are important in June. Great location for tourists visiting Oslo, short distance to bus and tram systems that can take you most wherever you want to go. A great variety of restaurants in the area. Our group of adults was in town for a family wedding and some sight-seeing, so we never cooked in the kitchen and instead we ate lunch and dinner out and about every day. This home is also well suited to families with kids. Christian, our host, was very nice, helpful and responsive to our questions.

Great location with a 180° view of the sea that is best enjoyed from the roof terrace. At most points, this house is as advertised, on the others it is better. Tor Magnus made everything possible for us to have a pleasant stay and responded immediately when we had questions.

Everything was excellent! Clear recommendation!

Central location for a stay in Oslo, without the noise of downtown. Public transportation within a short walk. The home itself was comfortable and roomy. We had our family of 7 and it had enough small areas to have some alone time, balanced with larger gathering spaces. The open concept, with doors opening up to a lovely backyard and a sitting areas both inside and out, made for relaxing meals and evenings. Our host was proactive in her tips and suggestions, and responded quickly when we had questions. She was very welcoming and helped us feel at welcome in her home. This is indeed a sweet AirB&B.

We were with seven friends for five days with Jonas and his family. In particular, we would like to highlight the location and the great views. If you want some peace and quiet but still want to see something of Oslo, it is just perfect. Go swimming in the morning, and then take the ferry 20 minutes directly to the center of Oslo. Jonas had great tips for us…

Perfect place for a break from the busy everyday life. Wonderful local and amenities.
