Wow!! What a privilege it was to stay in this beautiful former palace dating from the 1300s located in the wonderful medieval village of Certaldo. The accommodation has been renovated to a super high level, comfortable beds are made with lovely linen, it is extremely quiet yet bars and restaurants are just footsteps away, and the surrounding countryside is just stunning. And as if this place was not special enough there is the gold star hosting it comes with thanks to Elisabetta who is at hand for any help you might need organising your stay - she is such a lovely person and her help was invaluable! Amongst the many highlights of our trip were our family day out e-biking (such a good way to soak in the beauty of this corner of paradise), our meals at Ristorante l’Antica Fonte and the wonderful ice-creams at Ma Ke Gelato. With still so many things to do on our wish list we all really hope to be back before too long!

Denny was very gracious and helpful. When my rental car had a flat tire she and her family did everything possible to help. The small apartment is very well-appointed with lots of dishes, cozy kitchen, and very goood bed. Everything seems fresh and new. Denny has a real decorator’s touch.

Giovanni’s place was just the perfect place to stay. We’ll definitely book again and again and again. He gained a loyal guest forever! His entire family makes us feel welcome all the time. If you are looking for the perfect country side Italian experience look no further because this is definitely the perfect place to stay. Make sure you book in advance because his place is fully booked for months but that tells you everything. Thank you Giovanni! Simona gave us a very warm welcome! The apartment is lovingly furnished and very clean! We immediately felt comfortable. There is a train station 2 minutes away that takes a non stop to Siena or Florence, great! It should be mentioned that Simona was very helpful when I wasn't ok! We were allowed to stay in the apartment longer than agreed. We can definitely recommend the appartment!!!
