Ideal place to shine in the center of Tuscany. The small terrace is very nice for aperitifs in the evening when like us , we have the pleasure of having good weather in March. Thanks to Filippo's advice, we avoided traffic errors ( like taking the train to Pisa while thanks to Filippo's advice we went by car and found parking (a little expensive but so convenient) close to the tower and monuments ( 6mn walk) . Same for the train station for Florence less than 20 minutes from the apartment. Plus some nice restaurant surprises ( a little expensive for some) but a very interesting value for money for this tourist area. Funny note for the Var Gambassi Terme is twinned with the Croix Valmer. Great place, we would definitely recommend it.

Wow!! What a privilege it was to stay in this beautiful former palace dating from the 1300s located in the wonderful medieval village of Certaldo. The accommodation has been renovated to a super high level, comfortable beds are made with lovely linen, it is extremely quiet yet bars and restaurants are just footsteps away, and the surrounding countryside is just stunning. And as if this place was not special enough there is the gold star hosting it comes with thanks to Elisabetta who is at hand for any help you might need organising your stay - she is such a lovely person and her help was invaluable! Amongst the many highlights of our trip were our family day out e-biking (such a good way to soak in the beauty of this corner of paradise), our meals at Ristorante l’Antica Fonte and the wonderful ice-creams at Ma Ke Gelato. With still so many things to do on our wish list we all really hope to be back before too long!

Giovanni’s place was just the perfect place to stay. We’ll definitely book again and again and again. He gained a loyal guest forever! His entire family makes us feel welcome all the time. If you are looking for the perfect country side Italian experience look no further because this is definitely the perfect place to stay. Make sure you book in advance because his place is fully booked for months but that tells you everything. Thank you Giovanni! Flavio and mum were very warm, friendly and welcoming. Beautiful house with plenty of room. Super comfortable bed with great wardrobe space too. Plenty of room to park your car opposite the house but out of view. Surrounding views were stunning and very private. Thank you for a wonderful stay and will definitely be staying again.
