Homey Cottage with Glacier View

Our homey mountain retreat used to be my grandparents' place and has been completely renovated just recently. We wanted to preserve the snug and cosy traditional atmosphere with a combination of traditional furniture and a more modern almost minimalistic kind of interior. We kept parts of the traditional furniture and a beautiful collection of my granddad's handcarved portraits on the ground floor and combined it with bright wood and white on the first floor to leaven the atmosphere.

Ski-in/Ski-out chalet with amazing mountain view

Chalet Maria is a traditional Austrian mountain retreat situated close to Maria Alm and right in the middle of the fantastic Hochkoenig skiing and hiking area. It's a perfect place for a winter or summer holiday. The chalet is located at an altitude of 1,000m with breathtaking views of the surrounding Hochkoenig valley. The skiing slopes are only a 50 meter walk from the chalet. Directly from the chalet you can quickly reach several great MTB routes or hiking tours.

Five ski lifts directly from the chalet door in the Hochkeil ski area (1,300–1,784m). Cross-country ski trails and freeriding are also available. In 20 minutes by free bus (bus stop 50m away) to Ski Amadé with 34 lifts and 120km of slopes! Ideal for bachelor/bachelorette parties and birthday celebrations. Dogs are welcome.
