Homely corner for exploring the local area, thank you Roddy and Mrs Roddy (and Winston the Labrador!) for a comfortable stay. A friendly welcome, and the breakfast things and snacks were a nice touch.

My son and I had a wonderful stay at Penny’s house. She and her husband are amazingly friendly hosts and they did everything they could to make us feel welcome. The house is full of character and feels very homely. It’s got everything you need, nice bed, kitchenette and a comfy sofa. We found it easy to walk into town or catch the bus at the end of the road. All in all we had a great time and hope to be back one day!

Great value for money accommodation in a quiet rural location but close enough to pubs and public transport. Good location for exploring the wider area by car, bicycle or train.

Absolutely lovely stay, great for having a cosy place to settle if you’re out and about for the day & great if you have dogs as well with the surroundings! Just perfect! Everything you need and more

We had a lovely stay here, we were attending a wedding and so didn’t get to make the most of the beautiful location. The annex is separate to the main house, is exceptionally clean, access to the garden was via large bi fold doors to the back with a lovely garden and scenery to enjoy a morning coffee. Arrived to the log burner lit and the house ready for us. Tea/coffee and fresh milk had been left which was gratefully received. The kitchen well stocked for cooking and everywhere clean and tidy. Hosts were so friendly and great at communicating quickly, next time we are travelling in the area would definitely stay here. Can recommend in the summer for the peace of countryside with a pub a short walk away, or a cosy retreat in the winter.

All good! Suited our needs very well. Lovely quiet location. Alison was a very responsive, flexible host, and we particularly appreciated the welcome pack. The younger ones loved the games selection!

We’ve been staying here for five years now - a demonstration of how lovely a place Little Lodge Cottage is to stay. Our daughter loves being able to help feed the animals. We often spend days playing in the garden and just relaxing - but there is also plenty to do around Suffolk and Norfolk, each time we visit we try something new (this year was ClipNCimb in Ipswich was a hit!). The cottage has everything we need and it’s a great place to stay.

Spotlessly clean, easy to access and very private. Good to have fresh milk and water provided.

The Pavilion was comfortable and well equipped, close to some beautiful walks and many excellent pubs. Liz was a very responsive host and to be met with milk, bread, butter, eggs, marmalade etc - all you needed for breakfast - was much appreciated. The beautiful bunch of daffodils was also a lovely touch. We had a great weekend and thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

This place is more than worth the value and is a wonderful quiet peaceful location, with countryside views and facing the sunset all very clean and tidy was a pleasure to stay .

We had a wonderful few days in Tess and Roger's gorgeous garden room. We had a lovely welcome from them and their cute pets and Tess gave us a quick guide to the room and facilties. Everything is even better than the photos and we had a lovely note and bottle of their own apple juice to welcome us. The grounds are a joy to walk around and Roger gave us a talk on his Chelsea garden plants on the Sunday. Tess gave lots of recommendations for places to eat and we loved the Blue Fig restaurant in Bury St Eds. It felt a bit too cold to try a dip in the pond, which just means we will have to come back. Thank you so much, it was so lovely to meet you.

Very impressed with accommodation, and also very helpful with the area also, never seen such a clean property and they left us some food supplies to get us going. the ergonomics are well thought out, housed four of us no issue. couldn't be happier especially with such short notice. worth it!

This is a very rural and peaceful location in the Suffolk countryside - but only about 10 minutes from the main roads for quick access to other places you may like to visit.

My stay at Kingfisher Lodge was the perfect weekend escape for me and my little staffy Freya, the properties garden is wonderful, great fun to explore and a perfect suntrap to indulge in a good book! The accommodation was clean and cosy with everything needed to relax and feel at home, with added goodies including bread, butter, eggs, jam, milk, tea, coffee, a fruit bowl and wine/beer. I slept great, the mattress was super comfy and the location is peaceful and quiet whilst being 10 mins drive from the lovely town of Bury St Edmonds and a 2 min walk from Norton Park which is a must if you're staying with a dog, it's a lovely walk with woods, a river and even a maze to enjoy. The host was friendly and accommodating and made our stay the best it could be, as did his lovely little dog Georgia. Would happily revisit. 5 stars all round.

Dallas was a perfect host. My room was clean and fresh and the little touches like cereal and treats was lovely. I have no problem recommending people to stay here.

We arrived a little after 1pm, the early checkin was the first tick in the box of what was a great stay. The road is quiet and the accommodation was at the back of the property with a lovely view of the gardens and the fields beyond. The milk, tea and coffee was lovely plus the fridge was a god send with the warm weather. Everything was so clean, nicely furnished and the bed was just as comfortable as any I have ever slept in. If you have time there are some lovely walks and you can leave your car safely on the properties private drive. I have stayed in many five star hotels and much more expensive Airbnb’s, many have no where near the standards of this great find run by a lovely couple.

There is a reason Rob is a super host. Not only are the accommodations absolutely perfect, your hosts are amazing people! Do yourself a favor and select Rob’s place to stay when you are in the area. You’ll be happy you did! We will definitely stay here again, when we return.

Clean, easy to find, perfect for our stay in Chelmsford.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the annex. The place was spotless , warm and very homely. Lucy kindly left some fresh eggs from the chickens in her garden and also some delicious home made bread. A lovely location within easy driving distance of Cambridge. A great place to stay and we hope to come back again.

The property is exactly as described. The hosts - Tony and Masha - are very helpful and friendly. They also gave us lots of recommendations on local restaurants which we would never find by ourselves. Location is perfect - near the beach. We have enjoyed our stay here. We highly recommend it.

Lovely peaceful wee annex with a kitchen full of everything you could need, some food and things provided too so you won't arrive and be stuck! Comfy living space with great amenities. Really kind and friendly owners.

Very nice little Airbnb. Just off the beach and lake. Really lovely location. Was well equipped and lovely responsive host. Very affordable and good value, would come back!

Great place to stay. Great friendly hosts. Everything we needed for our stay. Loved the decking area that looked over the lake. Stunning view. Prefect location for us as had a wedding at Gosfield Hall.
