This is a perfectly cosy, self contained detached space in the county of Suffolk. It is a two mile distance from Ipswich train station and a few minutes stroll to parks and local amenities. There are lovely walks and cycle rides to surrounding villages and historic market towns like Colchester, Hadleigh, Kersey Lavenham and Woodbridge. The coast (Southwold, Walberswick, Aldeburgh, Frinton, Felixstowe, Clacton, and Lowestoft) are all a comfortable 30 - 45 minutes drive.

After some helpful calls with Tibouche, we arrived to a clean and welcoming space that was perfect for my 26th birthday party / New Years' celebration. Tibouche and her husband were very welcoming, and left us to orchestrate things ourselves. I'd recommend this lovely house to anyone wanting to have a big private party, although I'd take advantage of the BnB element of this house more than we did!

Anthony's place was very snug and cozy. Very comfortable bed and the heating was very easy to control and effective. Handy base for Sudbury, Bury St Edmunds, and Lavenham, just to mention 3 places. Tea, coffee, and breakfast cereals provided. We would be happy to stay again in future.

What a lovely place, perfect for a quick break. We stayed one night with our dog and was made to feel really welcome, we were given a local reccomendation for dinner which was lovely. Comfy bed, brownies on arrival which were incredible. Christine was lovely and omg the breakfast...everything was lovely!

We stayed 10 days in order to attend a course and visit old friends locally. The accommodation is very good standard with pretty furnishings, very comfortable beds, and views of apple trees. It was cosy, warm and tranquil. Excellent shower in spacious downstairs bathroom. The steep stairs are for able bodied people only and are well lit. Fresh homemade sourdough bread, fresh fruit compote , yoghurt, cereal and coffee for breakfast. Because of our long stay, and there being no kitchen, Rosie offered a delicious home cooked evening meal..it truly felt like home from home. Rosie and Phil were especially kind when we thought we might be ill. We can’t thank them enough and would love to stay again.

We were greeted by a lovely little cat which was a pleasant welcome. Gorgeous location! Comfy cabin, with everything I needed. Lovely friendly hosts and it was great to receive a freshly baked loaf of bread on arrival, plus jam, butter and milk. Museli and oats provided for breakfast too. Lots of lovely hot water in bathroom adjoining the cabin. I'm tall so the shower height was a little low for me (standing in the bath), but it was very easily worked around. Next time I'll bring binoculars and my camera, as the wildlife down the lane heading towards the river was wonderful. I also loved that the cabin is located near World Horse Welfare (although it was unfortunately closed due to an infection - but I could see the horses in the fields). Also great walking/cycling around the lanes. I was visiting the Norwich and Thetford areas and the cabin is conveniently located between the two. I'd love to stay again and definitely recommend the cabin.

We stayed at Billy’s converted barn for two nights over Easter 2025. Allison and I had an amazing time, Billy was the best super host we have stayed with. His open and friendly personality shone through and the amenities, facilities and little touches were amazing. Billy also provided a first class breakfast on both mornings which was a very nice surprise. The barn is situated at the side of a lovely pond with external seating areas, in addition there was a lovely seating area at the end of the garden overlooking the rolling fields. Billy could not do enough for us, he also recommended a local pub / restaurant that we ate at and had a great night. The extremely large TV had an excellent quality picture with lots of apps so we were spoilt for choice on what to watch. Everything was excellent quality and we would 100% return, the barn was very easy to find with lots of area for parking. We would highly recommended staying here if you want a nice relaxing stay with a superb host 11/10.

We love staying here and this was our third visit. It's perfect for my son and Andrew and Carol are really friendly and don't mind having a mad toddler running about their garden! Excellent breakfast and my son was very happy with his big bowl of fruit salad every morning and enjoyed the toast with apple jam as well.

Absolutely loved our weekend here. The perfect little get away for a change of scenery and relaxing weekend. The hut was very cosy, had everything we needed included & the added bonus of a welcome basket was so very lovely! Kylie and Andrew's communication was impeccable and they couldn't have been more attentive. Highly recommend, we will definitely be returning!
