We had a lovely stay in Adrian’s eco house, it was surrounded by a beautiful vineyard and we made very good use of the hot tub! Adrian was very communicative and helpful and I’d recommend this house for anyone looking for a peaceful stay in beautiful countryside.

Thanks to Amanda and Adam for a great 3 nights at the Silver Birch Lodge. It was so much to do and the hot tub and fire pit was so amazing… We learnt how to build a fire pit as never done this before so was a good experience. Me and my 8 year old took the bikes out and went around the village with some spectacular views and really friendly people. If you are looking to relax and get away for a few days then this is the place to come really nice from start to finish… Thanks again for being amazing hosts and will definitely come back again!!!

Absolutely stunning lodge, was exactly what we wanted. Very spacious and was bigger than expected. The hot tub added a little extra something. Everything you would need for a weekend stay. Fantastic surroundings, including the friendly horses that would come to their gate for a stroke. Beautiful location with a country park not far for a great walk. Overall a brilliant stay and would highly recommend!

beautiful lodge in a quiet area which would be great for any fishing fans. only 30-40 mins from a selection of great beaches too, so an ideal location for exploring the area. Ruth was a great host and even dropped off some freshly laid eggs and some plastic cups for the hot tub!

A great stay for our family. The perfect getaway from the madness of every day parent life! We enjoyed a 2 hour exploration across the acres of land nearby and some relaxation in the well maintained hot tub. The place was a home from home and extremely well kept. In the evening there were a few creepy crawlies, but expected in the countryside! The king sized bed was ever so comfy and the children slept well in the single bedroom next door. We would 100% recommend this place and would love to come back in the near future.

We stayed for our Wedding Anniversary & it was a perfect stay. Hot tub & views were amazing! So peaceful & idyllic! Everything you could need was there, with a bonus of indoor & outside games. Would definitely recommend to others & will be booking again.

Lovely little cabin in a beautiful and peaceful location! Everything was to our liking, the hosts are warm and welcoming, and the cosy cabin was exactly what we needed! Everything was clean and tidy, and the back yard is just gorgeous!

We had a really nice time here. our children loved playing in the garden and watching the rabbits. the place was perfectly clean and well stocked kitchen for cooking. thank you!

We rented John’s hut to spend a day at the beach with friends. The hut was exactly as described and very well located, close to the cafesnand shops, the toilets, and the parking spaces. It contained everything you can need for a perfect day at the beach! Would definitely recommend it and would consider renting it again in the future.

We had a lovely stay. The cargo pod was just big enough for us and the facilities were great. The patio furniture could do with an update, but overall we are really happy

We had a lovely few days at the Mersea Retreat. It is very well equipped, comfortable and quiet and Emily is a very helpful host. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed walking on the beach and visiting the Mersea Island Museum. Hope to stay again. Many thanks.

Fantastic lodge, just as described, spotlessly clean, everything you could need. Ideally located to visit Maldon, Burnham, Leigh on sea etc. Good choice of country inns and cafes. Would definately stay again.

I stayed at Elizabeth's Airbnb in Norfolk, just 10 minutes from Snetterton Race Track, to watch the BTCC. The accommodation was lovely, and the farm was beautiful in a stunning part of the world. Highly recommend!

very good communications from owners. was absolutely lovely surroundings. the cabin was lovely and warm and clean. honestly no problems at al,l toilets and showers available for use separately (also very clean and tidy ) so all good there. as for the lake . it seems it's a new lake so don't expect to be lamping out fish all over the place . absolutely no problems at all. thank you will be definitely staying again.

Chris and Brenda's lovely hideaway is in their secluded, tranquil, and beautifully maintained garden. Chris was very friendly, responsive and helpful from day one - we were visiting for a wedding and I was also doing the wedding cake. Chris kindly measured the fridge for me and took out the shelves so it could be put straight in upon our arrival. We were arriving late into the evening and Chris made sure to keep the security light on which was very thoughtful, and still made the effort to greet us in person to show us how things worked. The place is gorgeous - extremely clean, soft bedding and towels and has all you need. Would highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay! The caravan was absolutely lovely — very clean, spacious, and well looked after. It had everything we needed and felt really comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect for the wedding we were attending nearby, it was walking distance to the venue which made everything so convenient. A big shoutout to the host Scarlet, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay — quick to respond and even offered to help with check-in. Truly top-notch customer service! Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you!

Lovely cabin in a very spacious, private setting. Cosy, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Especially enjoyed relaxing in the illuminated dome in the evening, even while the rain poured outside! Only stayed overnight, and chosen for its proximity to a number of nature reserves we were visiting, but ideally located for touring the three county area.

This is our second trip to the lodge to visit family , it is in a beautiful setting surrounded by wildlife and a wonderful dog walk . The lodge is much more spacious than the photos shows. Mary was extremely helpful with any issues we had and sorted them straight away.

Great place to stay, great host who went above and beyond to make our stay great. The added extras of wine, milk, juice and croissants were thoughtful. The place its self is comfortable for 2 adults with a very comfy bed. Walking distance to Newmarket town centre and great location if you are wanting to go the Newmarket Races. Highly recommended
