Aurrekoetxe is a typical Basque farmhouse in the Mañaria area that is over 300 years old. Located below Mount Mugarra, on its southern face, it is surrounded by nature adjacent to the Urkiola Natural Park and just 2 km from the urban center of Mañaria. I live with my mother and my two daughters aged 14 and 11 in the same building but with another separate entrance, respecting the privacy of the guests and our own. Quiet apartment ideally located in the heart of the Basque Country in a small town at sea level and surrounded by mountains. Very cute and functional apartment. It is accessed directly from the outside without going through the portal. No parking problems in the area Excellent communications: 3 km. from access to the highway by which you can reach the 3 Basque capitals in 30-40 minutes: Donostia-San Sebastian, Bilbao and Vitoria-Gasteiz. 10 minutes from Deba beach.

This is my second time staying here. I absolutely love staying here. It’s clean, centrally located, the bed is like a dream and they always have the fridge well stocked with drinks and yummy snacks. Cherry on top, they have the bathroom well stocked with top quality soaps, shampoo and conditioner. I LOVE this place and will always stay here when in San Sebastián. I’ve met Jon and his sister in person and both are genuinely nice people. They’re very accommodating and full of information about their beautiful city.

Spectacular accommodation and I felt completely at home, Elias and his wife are very kind, they make everything very clear. I loved the stay and it is a very spacious and comfortable house. It has things like an Alexa or the Smart TV that I liked a lot and the beds to rest are very comfortable. Also, there is food and other things in the kitchen that makes it easier to be there. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Spectacular view. Incredibly comfortable space, Great hiking right from the front door. We were here for 5 nights and could’ve stayed longer. Early May seems like a quiet time in the area, the weather was cool and a little rainy which we enjoyed. Julen is very friendly and communicative.
