Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Azores

I've stayed in hundreds of airbnbs and this was definitely one of the best. Even though it was just two of us, there was plenty of room for much larger groups. The apartment is centrally located and less than a 10 minute walk to the town and the beach. We had no issues finding parking in front of the apartment. The wifi worked great (~136Mbps) for two digital nomads that needed to have reliable internet. Guido was very accommodating and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Ponta Delgada

The house was in a fantastic location. We were two families of four and found it very accommodating. the location in the island was fantastic. Getting to the place was slightly tricky, but our Skida Fabria rental had no trouble as long as we folded the mirrors. The hostess was very accommodating and pleasant. It was as-advertised in every way. Thank you for a great stay!

The personality of the hosts clearly emerges, it is furnished according to the Azores, high quality and beautiful. The hostess even surprised us with some treats from the island, so we could start the next morning with a great breakfast. We felt completely comfortable. It was incredibly clean and the amenities exceeded our expectations. The location is ideal, situated right by the sea and all sights are quickly reached by car. Parking is available right outside the door. Unfortunately, it is very noisy in the bedrooms as they face the main road. As of the end of October: The bakery in front of the door is no longer open.

Andre has a beautiful home and the location is amazing at the edge of the lake in Sete Cidades! The views from the livingroom, dining room and front porch were amazing of the lake and surrounding mountains! There are many hiking paths to walk to and/ or bike to and/or drive your car to. We just loved all the wood tables, countertop and carvings. Beautiful! The home was well appointed, comfortable and perfect on the lake! There is a very delicious bread kitchen to get fresh out of the oven bread. We were provided with an amazing welcoming basket of goodies that included yogurts, granola, milk, butter, local rosemary honey, local sweet rolls, local pineapple, apples, oranges, local cheese and a bottle of wine!!!! And to top it all off there are bikes and kayaks to use! Definitely recommend staying at Andre’s home!

We had a perfect stay in Vitor's beautiful and spacious house. It is very clean and well equipped with everything you need. Vitor is a wonderful host. Since our flight had a delay we arrived quite late and even got some food from Vitor. It was a great experience and we can fully recommend Vitor's house.

The impeccable house, the lady who checked in was super sweet and she still gave us indications of baths to enjoy and carnival parties throughout the city, all the communication with everyone was excellent and left no doubt. We'll repeat the experience again!

Very nice apartment with an amazing view from the upstairs terrace. Easy walk to waterfall and small beach. Had a great time!

A beautiful little house with a small garden to sit and eat in. From there you can see all the way to the sea. All the basic things you need for cooking, like salt, pepper, olive oil, were there too. The beautiful town center is only a few minutes' walk across a nice bridge. Everything was very relaxing. Emanuel was a good host and was always available through messages. We had a great time and would be happy to come back one day.

The very spacious apartment is centrally located in the city and has a real Portuguese atmosphere, with lots of wood. It is a fine base to explore the city by foot. José is a very helpful host. So recommended!

Very comfortable two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment made family visit comfortable for everyone. So helpful to have washing machine. Space heaters were efficient for the cool, rainy days since there is no central air or heat. Beds comfortable. Sofia is very responsive when we faced a minor issue and it was immediately addressed. Great views of the Atlantic from the deck. Super place, great host, we will be back!

We enjoyed stay at the house as there are 4 of us staying there. Duarte was nice to give us instruction of places to see and eat which was helpful. We only stayed for 3 days there

Once we found it, we were very pleased with the accommodation. It is conveniently located, close to a grocery store, and comfortable. Inês communicated with me as needed, they were both friendly and welcoming. All necessities were provided. The dark nights were appreciated, as it is off by itself somewhat.

Cristina’s apartment was spotlessly clean and tidy. Just where you want to be in the heart of Ponta Delgada. Everything was as described. There were goodies left on the table to sample. Her suggestions of where to eat and what to do were very good. It’s these little extras that make the host special. Bravo Cristina and thank you very much.

The apartment lived up to our expectations, the terrace was wonderful. It was well equipped, spacious and a pleasure to be there. Would highly recommend it.

Joao was a fantastic host. The location was exactly as described and Joao was very quick to respond with any questions we had or recommendations

Isabel was a great host. She was very welcoming upon our arrival. She provided great information on things to do, places to eat and contacts for day trips away from the downtown area. The home had everything we needed for our stay. Isabel was also very accommodating on our departure as we had a late flight she allowed us to stay well past the scheduled check-out time. I would highly recommend her home.

Unser Aufenthalt war super! Die Wohnung war sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Lage der Wohnung ist optimal um zu Fuß die Stadt zu erkunden und Ausflüge zu unternehmen. Auch die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, die Handtücher waren sehr flauschig und sauber und auch die Tipps für die Gegend waren hilfreich und gut. Wir würden wieder kommen und die Wohnung absolut empfehlen.

Cláudia's place was so lovely. The location, amenities, and space were all 5 stars. First, the host was very flexible with our check-in time and allowed us to check-in early. They were responsive to all of our questions in a timely fashion. Second, we had everything we needed and more in the apartment. They even came to clean our apartment while we were out and neatly folded our clothes that were on the beds. Definitely above and beyond. Third, the location was walking distance to most places in Ponta Delgada that we wanted to go to, but the parking garage was a nice addition. We felt very safe the whole time. Would definitely recommend this place for a stay in Ponta Delgada!

I had a wonderful stay In David’s home. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. Check in and parking was very easy. The new Air Conditioning systems in each room were a nice bonus.

The apartment is a viewpoint to the sea. Part of the view is tastefully decorated. It has everything you could possibly need.

Excellent location for touring the island with our rental car. Greatly appreciated the lovely welcome basket of snacks and wine! Loved that we could buy extra wine and coffee supplies. Would definitely return!

Very comfortable. The apartment is on the ground floor, with a private parking space. The internet is fast and there is a computer desk. Ideal for digital nomads. There's an AC and heating. You can walk to António Borges Garden and Parque Atlântico (mall). Marco is very friendly.

The place is very splendid and very clean and the views of the sea are wonderful He deserves to return to him again.
